Gore's Win Is Hillary's Loss

Adding to Greg's post on Hillary, which you should go read now, this is a big problem for Hillary as Al Gore is the only person with the capability of derailing the Hillary train to the 2008 Democratic nomination.

Hillary Clinton has the highest negatives of any of the Democratic candidates. Al Gore won the popular vote in 2000. Hillary Clinton is cynically pivoted off a marital affair into a senate seat. Al Gore is best known for a lifelong marriage to a nice woman and having four nice kids. Hillary Clinton forgot where the Rose billing records were. Al Gore wrote a book on saving the environment, two books, plus a documentary. He also won an Oscar and an Emmy.
In short, if he does enter this race, he stops Hillary cold, he can do it, and he is the only one who can do it. As a Republican, I like my party's odds of defeating Hillary, and Al Gore scares me, play it right, and he could take it all away in November.

He knows this, the experts know this, the people who are organizing the Draft Gore movement know this, and he has very little time. So I guess it's all up to Mr. Gore. Does he really want to be president? Would he want to live with himself knowing he could have been and decided not to? It's decision time.
