Slinging mud isn't just the job of candidates, political parties or their professional surrogate platforms, like those infamous "527's." Voters get in on the act as well. Here's some footage of the "B" word being dropped into a question as a pronoun for U.S. Senator Hillary Clinton (D-NY). The question was to U.S. Senator John McCain (R-AZ).

The "person" making the comment on Hillary Clinton is all too typical of Republicans i.e. a little lacking in human decency, a little lacking in understanding the importance of civil discourse in functional democracy.If you want a Roman Empire style republic, instead of American Democracy that we grew up in; keep voting Republican.

I think it is unfortunate that Sen McCain did not see fit to tell the woman asking the question that it was inappropriate to use such language to refer to the only female candidate in the presidental race. He, instead, laughed alone with the rest of the crowd. I think his response reflects both his bad judgment and desperation.

It is ashame to see such a "lady" using that kind of language, that really shows what republicans are made of. Hillary will win I support her and just remember the old mexican saying: If the dogs are barking, it's because we are moving ahead. USA get ready for our new lady president.

I think John McCain handled it like the gentelman he is. I thought the female asking the question was talking about John Edwards.
My vote will go to Hilary. This country needs a smart strong leader who will put the American people first.

The question was asked in a tactless fashion, do not blame Mr. McCain for dismissing it with laughter. He handled it as a public scrutinized gentleman, with all the class expected.

About the "B" question to senator John MicCain, to begin with, it was not appropriate and unfortunately the Senator, whom I admire, did not do any better job to handle it otherwise. By laughing with rest of ignorant people, he increased the fire more Wilder. The lady who delivered the foul question in national T.V has no class what so ever.

In reference to"TIM" who stated that in the south(sic) "Speak the truth and shame the devil" shows just how little class & breeding he and the other so-called 'southerns' have. It seems to be OK for Republicans to become vulgar, go after the opposition with an evilness that hasn't been so 'in-your-face' before. BUT DON'T SAY ANYTHING BAD ABOUT THEM!!

The only way our country will regain some of it's FADED GLORY is to put a fine, bright, well educated, intelligent,ALL AMERICAN, charming, experienced woman in our white house. Of course that woman is HIllary Clinton.
