In an irony-studded interview with AP reporter Kathleen Hennessy, Bill Clinton's old long-time lover Gennifer Flowers talks about her thoughts on the 2008 Presidential race.
From her new digs in Las Vegas (Formally from New Orleans, she lost everything, husband included, in Katrina), The 57-year-old Flowers is apparently watching the race closely but has no "interest whatsoever in getting back out there and bashing Hillary Clinton."
Well, at least she's over that.
Continuing her thoughts on Hillary Clinton, Flowers said, "I would love to see a woman president, I just didn't think it would be her". She's considering other candidates as well. Of Joe Biden, "smart, sexy and experienced". Mitt Romney is also on her radar.
She is now removed from the crazy days after her press conference announcing her 12-year long relationship with Clinton, the book tours and lawsuits. Ms. Flowers continues her lounge singing career now in Las Vegas and seeks other performance opportunities including a plastic surgery reality series and writing a column for a community website. One of her co-writers? Hillary Clinton.
When asked if she had any advice for Hillary, Flowers responded, "She wouldn't take any advice from me anyway. Looks like she's doing just fine on her own".
