Let him keep it, one less issue he can deny. The more it will cost him financial and politically, overall.

This is just idoicy. They are really milking this thing for much more than its worth. Ron Paul isnt in any way endorsing or supporting their ideas; why should he give it back. HIS STANCE ON THE ISSUES IS THE IMPORTANT THING. He doesnt associate himself with that white supremesist philosophy. His supporters are of all colors and backgrounds. Do some research on the man and you will see that he would make a great president. He's got my vote.

He keeps $500 from a racist (unbeknownst at donation time), and uses it to promote his vision, not the racist's vision, and is chastised for that.....yet other candidates receive millions from defense contractors and PAC groups......and that's just fine. Ron Paul cannot be bought, look at his congressional record....and then look at the other candidate's histories.

My question is is why does this matter?
How does the racists beliefs effect the beliefs of Ron Paul? I don't see how it does, and this debate is wrong and heres why!
We are not here to debate the actions of people but the actions of america! How many times has the governement exposed racism to the people in its own form of propaganda? So is the media saying we should we keep on supporting our government? Even though we once inslaved a race, even though we once denied anyone that wasn't white the liberties of the american dream? even though we placed the Japanese comunity in concintration camps during WWII? Even though we dropped a bomb and killed hundreds of thousands of innocent people?
And I believe the Answer... YES! and it is yes because even though the racist maybe ignorant that doesn't mean he doesn't have the same rights as all of us and to deny him this liberty is denieing all of us the liberties of americans because isn't america for us all? For all races, all colors, all religions and beliefs? isn't america for the right to freely think? Have we as americans not changed the world as we evolved has humanbeings and showed the world a better way to live?
I am an American and I vote for Ron Paul because its america were fighting for the America NOT the founding fathers but the idea of the founding father! and that is FOR US ALL! THAT is for all Americans born on this God Giving Soil!

If he doesn't accept the money, he is discriminating. Must be a slow news day. Keep the money, every other candidate does.

I THINK HE SHOULD KEEP IT. THE ONLY THING HE SHOULD DO IS LET IT BE KNOWN THAT HE'S COMEPLETLY AGAINST RACISM. THAT MONEY COULD BE USED TO BRING SOMEONE IN OFFICE THAT WOULD DO MORE FOR THE PEOPLE THAN THE REST OF THE RACIST RUNNERS HES UP AGAINST.
P.S. IM BLACK

I would believe he is a RASIST! At a local gun show his staff had a booth w/ a Nazi flag & another commie flag over the top of them and a 'jap guns 4 sale' sign on their table. THAT is even worse than Bush, and that's saying alot. :P

The person who contributed to Ron Paul is a white supremacist (but so was the Senator Robert Byrd). Does anyone know everything in the past about every person who has contributed to every campaign?? Does every Kennedy that runs for an office have their Uncle Teddy contribute? Remember it is Ted Kennedy who is a murderer of Mary Jo.
The candidate who has donors that should be scrutinized is Hillary Clinton. Norman Hsu and Abdul Rehman Jinnah are just the tip of the iceberg in questionable donors for Hillary, as she has MANY dirty little secrets.

Come onnnnnn! If candidates start refusing contributions from people who are bigots, racists, felons, or just annoying people... they would get no money at all. Who cares who it comes from? It only matters if the candidate believes he is bought and owes some special favor(s) to the donor.

Typical media, political BS, let's not focus on what the issues are, let's make a big deal about a contribution, that someone with a different outlook than mine, made to a canidate who is running a clean campaign, and not pandering to the partisan sheep. Why is it you never look into people who contribute to who donated to Reverand Al, or Revrand Jessy, or Obama? I guess that's not politically correct!

This is stupid. The media is just trying to find something wrong with his campaign to derail him. What about the 6 million dollars he raised sunday (world record for most money raised in a single day!)

What do you expect AOL to do? Sure they are going to pick up on some stupid $500 contribution and make a big deal out of it. When Big Fu..king pharmacutical, auto, insurance, oil, utility and military contractors put HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS into the campaigns of the front runners and not a peep!! Who is worse? Who's contribution effects all of us the most? Some skin heads, or utility and service companies like AOL?
