On New Year's Day, hundreds of Ron Paul supporters ceased their jousting, pillaging and other senseless acts of barbarism to stand in unison for the candidate they believe has the best skills and power to aide them in their conflict against the orcs, trolls and blood elves that terrorize the fair land of Azeroth.
World of Warcraft, a worldwide multi-player online role-playing game, came to a halt on Monday as hundreds of gamers (or "avatars," as they like to be called) lined up on a winding mountain path to "support Ron Paul." Though sources tell Political Machine that the queue was actually the line for a Yes/Genesis/Rush triple bill at Madison Square Garden.
WARNING: The following features a host of loitering night elves, dwarves and gnomes.
B. Brandon Barker's writing has appeared in Global City Review, The Year's Best Fantasy & Horror (St. Martin's Press), Verbicide, The Feed and online at McSweeney's. You don't understand the epicness of this. A political rally in a virtual world that was created to let people get away from the depressing reality in the first place! Ron Paul's message of liberty and freedom is universal and appealing to people of all walks of life. Just consider what attracts people to virtual worlds in the first place and you will see the connection to libertarian philosophy immediately. I'm sure that now Barack Obama and maybe some others will try to exploit virtual worlds, but the the first and purest show of devotion has been established. Everything else will be just a copy.

All the name calling just because we get involved and care about who runs are country, and Ron Paul is worth caring about. No one else has his kind of support. There are a lot of us, and you look foolish trying to pigeon hole that many people.

This is America and has everybody gone crazy or WHAT! How dare you Fox. I refuse to watch a network that eliminates a canidate from free speech. And a Canidate , HE IS! RUNNING FOR THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. WHAT ARE YOU AFAID OF? That he might win. Well he is certainly getting my vote. And you can do your best to silence him, but The People have spoken and they want him for president. I am a housewife, I do not PLAY GAMES! And now what are you trying to do stereo-type the gamers. What happened with all the commercials that are running teaching our children about diversity! Fox...You should be ashamed of yourself, and your sponsers. It must be true. This country does not live by the constitution written by GREAT AMERICANS, you guys just make it up as you go. To all American's, this is your chance to stand up for our god given rights. Make your vote count, and if you are curious I have always voted democratic. Where is the democracy? Sickened in MO.

Do you think the neo-conservatives want Ron Paul as president? Do you think they want the Iraq war to end? They want the entire middle east to self distruct. Fox is a bit player in this conspiracy. Ron Paul is no miracle worker but he loves his country and the people in it. How many other candidates republican or democrat can you say that about? This is going to backfire on Fox. You can fool the American people once but you can't fool them twice. My vote goes to Mr. Paul. Win or lose I will know deep down I made the right choice.

I am a single mom with two businesses and aDisabled child. never played video games or am much of a political extremist. I am voting for Ron Paul because I trust him and that is all it really comes down to. plus people are ignorant because all the facts are out there. Ron Paul to me is comparable to alot of great men of history. he's got our vote!

Ron Paul is the only candidate this year! The rest are paid mouth pieces for corporate America. FOX should be in a hole where their heads are! Why can't the other candidates see what America really needs! And who the Hell would vote for a Muslim Obama. His real life profiles are either deleted or washed over! A Black Muslim for President... Damn... 911 must of been forgotten!

This is slader towards Ron Paul supporters. You have to resort to this in attempts at tarnishing Ron Pauls beliefs because they are not mainstream Government/Corporations but the CONTROLLING "Big Brother" doesn't want people to hear about Ron Paul, they want him to look bad because he doesn't go along with their government control of free people. The government didn't bring me in to this world and has no RIGHT to control any aspect of my life as long as I don't harm or affect others in a bad way.But it seems they(government-Bush Sr. said there WILL be a 1 world government/a bunch of world leader supremacists ego maniacs intent on ruling the world and everyone in it) are doing a good job keeping us in entertainment and video games(not to mention working 24/7 to make ends meet)so we don't realize our freedoms slipping away little by little(in the meantime they condition us to the changes by spoon feeding us their sheeple doctrine(we follow them).Ron Paul is refreshing in the aspect that he is not a part of their supremacy,he can't be bought to corral americans into government sheeple following ideologies. He is a doctor and has delivered over 4,000 babies-he brought many lives here and is now fighting for our God given freedoms.Wake up people.Lets get "big brother" off our backs.

This only makes me want an amendment that requires a line on each ballot saying "None of the above". If this line wins, then another election must be held in six months with none of the canidates on the first ballot allowed to run again! It is time for the people to take back the government.
