Note From AOL: Our weekly survey was restarted again on Tuesday, Aug. 26 at 10PM ET. We will be launching a new version of this poll shortly that includes third-party presidential candidates.
Although Ron Paul is the candidate who I would recommend for president, I want to say that if you insist on not voting for him, then just don't vote for Clinton. Think about something. Since 1981, we have had either a Bush (H.W. was vice president from 1981 until 1989) or Clinton in office. As many know, the Bushes and Clintons are closer than many used to think they were. The presidency needs new blood. If you're not going to vote for Dr. Paul, then at least get a different family into office.

I'm ready for change. I know that Senator Obama will bring that. That's why I voulunteered for Barackstars, a high school program made WAY before HillRaisers ever began.
He brought and will continue bringing change before the pack. Period, end of story.

Senator Clinton has every right to seat the Florida & Michigan delegates. She should go as far as she is able to go!!! She needs to keep fighting, just because OLD MEN like yourself keep trying to make people believe Obama has already won in these stupid political polls they mean nothing, we still vote. Senator Clinton clearly won in these states, if the shoe were on the other foot I know Barack Obama would DEMAND & get that chance or we would have RIOTS in our streets!
Oh my God, the riots in the streets and the cry of cheating & foul would be on every AOL, & ABC headline! The Jesses Jackson's (I have no job) & Al Sharpton's (I don't have a job either) would hurt themselves to see who could get to a microphone first.
I voted in Florida and my VOTE doesn't count?
I am very proud of the country I live in, I guess Michelle Obama will only be proud of this country if her husband a black man "only" is elected? Is that how it works? Maybe this is the first time she has voted? Other then that she has nothing to be proud of? Michelle Obama said for the "FIRST TIME IN HER LIFE" she is proud of this country? Wow! That is quite a statement to make from (possibly the next Presidents wife). Do we really want someone so down in pride on the United States Of America representing the USA? What kind of first lady will she make? Will she be little this great country? Yes, with all it's faults it is still a great and proud country! I feel she has be littled this country with that statement but that is her right. That's why I live here.
Maybe Michelle Obama (maybe the next Presidents wife)should find another country where she can feel pride living in?
Keep fighting Senator Clinton we need your kind of pride in the United States Of America!

Hillary Clinton will squash McCain like a roach and the Republicans know it. They have some dirt on Obama which they will use once they get him chosen..and leave the path open for McCain...That's dirty, but that's how Republicans win..
SO WE MUST GET HILLARY CLINTON FOR PRESIDENT.

Let's take a closer look at who's really qualified and or who's really working for the good of all of us in the Senate. Obama or Clinton. Records of these two candidates should be scrutinized in order to make an informed decision.
Senator Clinton, who has served only one full term - 6yrs. - and another year campaigning, has managed to author and pass into law - 20 - twenty pieces of legislation in her first six years. These bills can be found on the website of the Library of Congress www.thomas.loc.gov, but to save you trouble, I'll post them here for you. 1. Establish the Kate Mullany National Historic Site. 2. Support the goals and ideals of Better Hearing and Speech Month. 3. Recognize the Ellis Island Medal of Honor. 4. Name courthouse after Thurgood Marshall. 5. Name courthouse after James L. Watson. 6. Name post office after Jonn A. O'Shea. 7. Designate Aug. 7, 2003, as National Purple Heart Recognition Day. 8. Support the goals and ideals of National Purple Heart Recognition Day. 9. Honor the life and legacy of Alexander Hamilton on the bicentennial of his death. 10. Congratulate the Syracuse Univ. Orange Men's Lacrosse Team on winning the championship. 11. Congratulate the Le Moyne College Dolphins Men's Lacrosse Team on winning the championship. 12. Establish the 225th Anniversary of the American Revolution Commemorative Program. 13. Name post office after Sergeant Riayan A. Tejeda. 14. Honor Shirley Chisholm for her service to the nation and express condolences on her death. 15. Honor John J. Downing, Brian Fahey, and Harry Ford, firefighters who lost their lives on duty. Only five of Clinton's bills are, more substantive. 16. Extend period of unemployment assistance to victims of 9/11. 17. Pay for city projects in response to 9/11 18. Assist landmine victims in other countries. 19. Assist family caregivers in accessing affordable respite care. 20. Designate part of the National Forest System in Puerto Rico as protected in the wilderness preservation system.
There you have it, the fact's straight from the Senate Record.
Now, I would post those of Obama's, but the list is too substantive, so I'll mainly categorize. During the first - 8 - eight years of his elected service he sponsored over 820 bills. He introduced 233 regarding healthcare reform, 125 on poverty and public assistance, 112 crime fighting bills, 97 economic bills, 60 human rights and anti-discrimination bills, 21 ethics reform bills, 15 gun control, 6 veterans affairs and many others.
His first year in the U.S. Senate, he authored 152 bills and co-sponsored another 427. These inculded **the Coburn-Obama Government Transparency Act of 2006 - became law, **The Lugar-Obama Nuclear Non-proliferation and Conventional Weapons Threat Reduction Act, - became law, **The Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act, passed the Senate, **The 2007 Government Ethics Bill, - became law, **The Protection Against Excessive Executive Compensation Bill, In committee, and many more.
In all, since entering the U.S. Senate, Senator Obama has written 890 bills and co-sponsored another 1096. An impressive record, for someone who supposedly has no record according to some who would prefer that this comparison not be made public. He's not just a talker. He's a doer.

After last nights 10th straight win it would appear that Senator Obama is moving toward becoming the democratic nominee. He (Senator Obama) is a dynamic individual with incredible credentials and a seemingly unstopable momentum. He is gaining new endorsements everyday. If I had a concern with Senator Obama it would revolve around his limited political experience.
I believe however that he and Senator Clinton are fairly similar in regards to their policy issues, And I believe that differences lie in their personality traits. It appears that Senator Clinton lacks an ability to connect with the American people. She is becoming more aggressive and spiteful with each defeat. Her tactics include petty attempts to discredit her opponant, And unfortunately look whats happening in the process - she is not only losing the race, she is losing creditibilty as a candidate.
I am bothered by the fact that she lacks the good sense and manners to congradulate her opponant on his outstanding victories. This is simply rude.
I am particularly troubled with her request to seat the Michigan and Florida delagates after entering an earlier mutual agreement to exclude them. This is unfair. I am also concerned with her troubled campaign woes and wonder if this is but a sample of her inability to manage her affairs- Is she capable? Also, I question her 35 years of experience and would wonder if being first lady counts as a prerequisite on her resume - I only mention this because she is continually comparing her experience to that of her opponant. Finally, I believe that both candidates should make public their financial information.

it would be great to have h. clinton and obama run on the same ticket. After all, Hillary has experience in the WH and we would be getting two for one. In addition, Obama would get needed experience in foreign policy as well as handling and priortizing the United State of affairs. Bush distroyed the US fighting his fathers battles, now it's time for a change; both locally and foreign. Let's get back to making the Unite States Priority One !
