Hillary's 'Waterworks-Gate 2: Electric Boogaloo'

Tribune Newspapers' The Swamp is reporting that Hillary Clinton has been implicated in yet another ocular salinization incident, the 2nd of this campaign. From The Swamp:

Penn Rhodeen, who was introducing Clinton, began to choke up, leading Clinton's eyes to fill with tears, which she wiped out of her left eye. At the time, Rhodeen was saying how proud he was that sheepskin-coat, bell-bottom-wearing young woman he met in 1972 was now running for president.

Out of her left eye. But Clinton is right-handed. It gets worse.

"Well, I said I would not tear up; already we're not exactly on the path," Clinton said with emotion after the introduction.

Clinton is holding a roundtable discussion with Connecticut women to talk about childcare and healthcare.

She said she would not tear up. But she did. She did tear up. Typical Hilliary Clinton. After her first sobbing stint singlehandedly gave her a victory in New Hampshire, she's gone back to the well again. How can anyone who gets emotional when being introduced by a longtime mentor be trusted to steward the US economy? How can she provide Healthcare to all Americans when she can't even pay her own Waaahmbulance bills?

Rest assured, this reporter, and the rest of the political news media, are on top of this story. Many details ahead.

Update: 9:10 pm The article is satirically making the point that it is absurd that this is even a story. Of course, there's nothing wrong with a display of emotion, and it does, in fact, show strength. Hillary's reaction was entirely appropriate, perhaps even restrained. Whomever I decide to vote for, rest assured it will have nothing to do with them crying.

I just got home, so I haven't watched any TV yet, but I'll bet this story is on every newscaster and pundit's lips, and it is ridiculous. Aside from the fact that it is utter nonsense, it is also, as the commenters point out, offensively sexist.
