You've gotta hand it to Ron Paul and the Paul-ites. They're nothing if not persistent.
The other day I spotted some twenty-somethings hanging Paul for prez posters around town. When I dared suggest that the good doctor's campaign may have run its course, the dudes looked at me like I was a communist from Mars. They really believe in their man, which is both impressive and a little bit frightening.
Dr. Paul is a believer too. He's still raising money, hoping to be a spoiler, and is even planning... wait for it... a march on Washington (!).
See how far you get in this looong video update, in which he vows to not give up. (Note to candidate Paul: verbosity doesn't win elections).
IT'S OVER ALL RIGHT & PAUL HAD BETTER GET BEHIND HUCK BECAUSE IT MAY BE THE ONLY WAY TO KEEP WAR MONGER MCCAIN OUT OF THE WHITE HOUSE

OK, I could only get through about three minutes of the video. What on earth makes anyone think this man will be president? Not saying Ron Paul is a bad guy, and I understand his appeal to independents, but it's not going to happen. He has about 14 delegates. Besides, no one ever gets to the presidency from the House of Representatives - not for over a century, anyway. If Ron Paul is being challenged in a primary for his House seat, call me crazy, but isn't that where his attention should be?

Ron Paul all the way! Too bad Americans are used to politians that are actors and liars, that when a wise man with a strong speech and solution to our problems comes along, the masses can't comprehend his message. He doesn't hand out the same old false promise and meaningless slogans. Real answers, real truth, real solutions. Then there is the myth of the delegate count being promoted by the mainstream media. Over 42 delegates have pledged to Ron Paul. Just over 200 are pledged to McCain. Many elected delegates have yet to cast their vote, but the MSM uses false information to declare winners. Washington is proof of that.

I am strong Ron Paul supporter and I think he is doing exceptionally well for a candidate who constantly gets sidelined by the media.
Ron Paul is the only candidate who represents the good American people. He is the only candidate who truly believes in the constitution and he is also the only candidate who intends to IMMEDIATELY withdraw our troops from Iraq.
Gosh Chris, why are you so hell bent on knocking those 20 somethings RP supporters??? For one thing, I think it's great that they even care enough to vote. I used to be an avid political watcher, but after seeing Bush cheat his way into office......I see it is all rigged nah! God forbid you were one of those jerk-offs who actually voted FOR Bush after cheating his way in! People who are for RP are interested in restoring our raped constitution, you dope, and are probably not buying all that crap coming out of any of the Republican's mouths.............

this is just the beginning of an american awakening to the rampant corruption between big corporations and the politicians in their back pockets. the media will do everything they can now to bash paul or ignore him completely. paul has made an impact already. people simply have to start voting for the right candidate and stop allowing media coverage of THEIR candidates to decide the election. turn off the tv and tune into the uncensored internet news.

Are there really communists on MARS? lol that's a good one... very clever. Seriously tho, you should watch the whole video and really listen to Paul with an open mind. It's so refreshing to hear a politician actually say what he feels. (not to mention that he is brilliant) Aren't you tired of the same old bs? The same lies and scandals? Don't we deserve better then what we've been getting? I think we do! Sadly, we have the msm controlling the election coverage (basically picking the candidates for us and we have uneducated, uninformed voters who just vote for "who can beat the democrate" or "who is winning" or "who is a woman" or "who is listed first on the ballot". If you really care about the future of your children and the future of America you will join us and help elect Ron Paul as the 44th President of the United States of America. Freedom and Peace!

RON PAUL WILL HAVE MY VOTE..LAW of ATTRACTION alway work
Ron Paul is the only candidate who represents the good American people. Not only should you vote for him, but you should consider dοnating to his campaign as well; even if it's just a small amount. If he gets in and succeeds in getting rid of income tax, then you will almost inevitably save more in the long run. To dοnate to his campaign, go to http://www.ronpaul2008.com and click the dοnate button.

A way to help Ron Paul
6:15PM Feb 12th 2008
Aside from donating to Dr. Paul's campaign, posting signs, spreading the word and working for the campaign, here's a way you can help Dr. Paul: Have a bunch of pens made with Ron Paul's name on them. Try to include "HOPE FOR AMERICA," "November 4, 2008" and "www.RonPaul2008.com." One site where you can have them made easily, quickly, nicely and at a good price is www.pensrus.com. Once you have the pens made, give them people and/or leave them in appropriate places for people to find. You can leave them in office copy rooms and shared desk areas. You can also leave some in bathrooms. At a store, buy something with a credit card, and when you go to sign your name, use the pen and very casually leave it there.
Ron Paul will help restore our freedom and protect our country from fascism and totalitarianism.
UNITED WE STAND!

I would love to stand again with my 5,000 friends from the Philadelphia Rally. There is a different mindset that comes with being a Paul supporter. You have to step back and look at the bigger picture. You have to see that the poor stay poor, the middle class is shrinking, and the top 1% has more money than the bottom 40%. You have to see that the growing number of people becoming dependant on the government for survival is DANGEROUS. You have to see how international companies are robbing countries of their resources and forcing them into debtor nations. (if you don’t fully understand the implications of my last sentence you are not informed enough to cast an intelligent vote, just my opinion) We are living in a global community, unfortunately most Americans fail to realize this at this time. It is because we truly believe in the AMERICAN way of life. That is what makes Paulites (AMERICANS) so tenacious. We are still here because it is NOT about Dr. Paul it is about an idea. A Freedom idea born about 200 yrs ago and we see big government as a threat to that. Who knows how to spend your money better you or the government? If you answered “you” you are a Ron Paul fan, you just don’t realize it yet. ;-)

commonsense
6:45PM Feb 12th 2008
Why in America do we have a problem with candidates who have an actual brain, a grasp of language and numbers? Are we doomed to the high school notion that to be intelligent is to be not cool? Ron Paul is cool, he is smart and his message stands out... isn't that what cool really is? I mean if those of you who can't handle a candidate with an obvious intellect only want the fun cool candidate then give Ron Paul credit, he is a maverick. American history has always admired mavericks, and this one has commonsense! Verbosity doesn't win elections, then the public is stupid.

McCain was one of the "Keating Five," congressmen investigated on ethics charges for strenuously helping convicted racketeer Charles Keating after he gave them large campaign contributions and vacation trips.
Charles Keating was convicted of racketeering and fraud in both state and federal court after his Lincoln Savings & Loan collapsed, costing the taxpayers $3.4 billion.
McCain intervened on behalf of Charles Keating after Keating gave McCain at least $112,000 in contributions. McCain's wife and father-in-law also were the largest investors (at $350,000) in a Keating shopping center; the Phoenix New Times called it a "sweetheart deal."
Mafia ties: In 1995, McCain sent birthday regards, and regrets for not attending, to Joseph "Joe Bananas" Bonano, the head of the New York Bonano crime family, who had retired to Arizona.
Arkansas attorney Chip Sexton on Huckabee's establishing a Mexican consular office in Little Rock:
"This whole scheme to get a Mexican consulate to locate in Little Rock appears to be nothing more than a veiled invitation for illegal immigrants to come to Arkansas to work for the Arkansas corporations who want cheap labor." "The package is enhanced by social welfare benefits provided by the state of Arkansas and financing assistance to support the Mexican consulate's presence in the state," Sexton said.
What you ought to be afraid of is that he doesn't get elected.... to heck with being afraid of the enthusiasm of his supporters. Think long and hard about who you vote for,,, my future and that of my family will depend on it.
