Sen. Barack Obama's supporters are young, hip and happening... and they want change. They want hatchets to be buried, wounds to be healed, scars to be laser-treated. They want a brighter future, a new tomorrow. Obama supporters want a leader who can take a tough call from Laurinda Calongne in the morning and a tough call from Clinton Portis in the evening. They want to see policemen riding happily on Segways. They want better luggage.Which is another way of saying, can we trust the average Obama supporter to hang out and watch an episode of Weeds without spilling kombucha on our couch? It's not an easy question to answer.

Twenty somethings should not be taken seriously when it comes to influencing how voters will vote in November.When they leave college, they still can't make up their minds what they want to be. They usually end up going home to mommy until she literally kicks them out on their own. They change jobs, relationships and their minds until well into their thirties. How can they choose a President? They are choosing Obama over Clinton because even though they still need their parents, they still believe in Santa Claus.
