Your Media: Dobbs Can't Quite Help Himself

What exactly was untrue about what Condoleeza Rice said? I think she nailed it fairly well. The issue of race remains complex because the history of race, as Rice said, was "not a very pretty reality."
Lou Dobbs is always getting riled up about someting or other - I tuned him out ages ago. He and O'Reilly and the rest know the more incendiary remarks they make the more their ratings go up. Some folks thrive on controvery and negativity. Nothing new about that.

C. rice states about "head start". Isn't that the affirmative action put in place by blacks to get an advantage over whites . slavery was 200 years ago , so I am unsure how long it is going to take blacks to catch up. Or maybe it is not the head start , but they have taken themselves out of the race to concentrate on welfare checks and gov. free housing, food stamps. In that area they have gotten very good at. Now if we can only cinvince the black man that it is in his best interest to get an education and then work at a job... but then he would lose all that he has fought for... housing , food stamps,etc.
The black man has put himself in this position, his mentors, rev.wright, reggie jackson, al sharpton,etc. have a vested interest in "keeping the black man down"

Wasn't there an cover story recently in Time magazine that said that we all had our DNA ties to Africa? People moved north into Europe and, over time, lost the pigment cells in the skin causing people to become lighter skinned than those people who were living with extreme sun exposure. THEREFORE, aren't we all African -- just with different shades of color!

Another point that is never mentioned is that it was black African tribes that sold their race, because of tribal wars, to white people. Why is it that the white people get all the blame for slavery in the US? It was the black people, selling their own, for profit in many cases.

If Clinton was able to pull off getting the nomination because of cheating I will vote for McCain.

What does it mean?

That will be one more democratic vote for McCain.

We will be in Iraq or Iran depending on how his mind is working that day.

We will spend all our social security funds fighting a 100-year war.

The rich will become richer and the poor poorer.

There will no longer be a middle class.

Lou Dobbs is not a populist. He's a clown masquerading as a tv host. He contradicts himself so much with doubletalk that he disgraces the word "populist". I felt dumber whenever I heard him speak recently. I used to love Lou and remember watching him regularly in the 80s when he had his business show. Somewhere along the line, he had a brain transplant. Along with Jack Cafferty, he's part of the Dumb down clown brigade on CNN. How Wolf Blitzer deals with these two dolts is a testament to Wolf's skills. Sometimes Wolf sneaks in intelligent questions they don't understand, providing comic relief for those of us who do. Most people would strangle the two of them when they utter one of their nonsensical diatribes. But somehow Wolf deals with their idiocies with clenched teeth. Wolf must wonder what he did to deserve getting stuck working with these nutjobs. Now, when Dobbs appears on my TV, it's an automatic change the channel. Try it, he's not nearly as damaging to you when you don't hear what he says.

Lou Dobbs has difficulty being appropriate in too many of his comments. He presents as a egotistical Know-It-All and I think CNN should dismiss him. I will never again view CNN when he is speaking. I wonder if Lou's comments concerning race would be the same if the were black? If he thinks like has been and is so good for African Americans would he want mind changing from white man to a black man? I very seriously doubt that because he knows what the truth is and he choses to intertain himself and the public with lies.

Is Barack Hussein Obama is being disingenuous when he declares “I am not a Muslim” Perhaps the question should be “Are you of Arab decent?” His father is listed with the Kenyan Government as an Arab African. If Obama didn’t know he was part Arab that is troubling. If he knew and didn’t acknowledge this it is worse.

you bet condi was right about race issues here in the usa......lou dobbs seemed outraged that she would have something to say about that, after all he went on to say, we are a nation of many races, colors, and faiths and we have all learned to get along and be tolerant.....bull shit, i listen to cnn news all the time, all programs until he comes on, then i change channes, he is intolerable, i am a mexican american, my grandparents were naturlized citizens, they worked hard to teach us all to take care of others as well as take care of the family, how to work hard, everyone had a job, from littlest to eldest.....we hispanic/americans, including mexican aliens, have done the jobs that white americans will not do, in my expierence, i have seen very little white american population out there working the agricultural fields as we hispanics have, how many white americans work at the lettuce fields, or tying onions at little or nothing for each bundle, or the grape fields with stifyling heat, or worked in SALINAS,CA turnig crops, while the farmers children drove new trucks and were in trouble in town for their rowdiness-did not work the farm as that was not their job, and these poor meixican migrant workers were housed in motels 4-5 people in a 1 bedroom, and chargeded 300-400 dollars each a month, each person....then their is the balack issue, sub-standard schools, the whites would not even think about sending their children there....lou talks bout the fence to keep the aliens out because they take away the jobs from white america, bring drugs to our country, and of course more crime....i was raised in phx, az. and it was we americans that went to mexico looking for drugs, and making deals to bring them back into the states....90% of the mexican aleins work hard and send most of their money back to mexico to provide for their families...they pay their bills, make fainancial arragements to pay for their bills....as for the black issue, we have been so afraid to have any kind of dialogue with our black brothers and sisters, and surprise, they want the same as we do, a good job, a decent roof over their heads-not a ghetto, food and clothing, good schools for their children, the hope of college, respect, the freedom to worship at whatever they want, be it baptise, protestant, jewish, muslim, or catholic, or not at all.....they do not have to worship lilly white protestant or baptise to be ok, these are the issues that confront the blacks of this nation day in and day out, when they look in the mirror-they see a black-it does not change-they will always be black, how do i know, i have grandchildren and great-grandchildren that are 1/2 black/hispanic, and they are seen as black-that i am very proud of, they have two very strong and proud cultures that white america is trying to take away from them....and that includes you lou dobbs, you with your narrow minded views on what we that are non whites go thru day in and day out....so i will continue to exclude your program, as it is so biased by its moderator....
