Will Mark Penn Get Paid?

I hadn't read this article in mens vogue. But I looked it up and its true.

At a fundraiser When Morgan Freeman comes over to greet Obama, the senator begins bowing down both hands in worship. "This guy was president before I was," says Obama, referring to Freeman's turn in Deep Impact and, clearly, getting a little ahead of his own bio. Next, a nod to Bruce Almighty: "This guy was God before I was." (Okay, more than a little ahead.) But Freeman is eating it up. Leaning in, he tells the senator to win it. "I will," Obama replies. "That's why I'm running."

Isn't it amazing how this stuff doesn't make headlines?? If Hillary or anyone else said something like this imagine what would happen.

I've always referred to Obama as the Messiah because he portrays that do as I say arrogant attitude. This man is UNELECTABLE. He is a racist bigot.

Wake up fellow Americans and Democrats..If we want to get into the white house..Vote for Hillary. Otherwise it will be a fifty state landslide for Mccain, and for the first time in my adult life I will no doubt vote republican.

I certainly hope Clinton pays Penn, as well as all the vendors she owes. It speaks to her ability to balance the budget. If she cannot control campaign spending and balance its budget, how will it reflect on her ability to handle the fedaral budget? The GOP will have a field day with this, democrats already being branded as "spend-aholics".

And spinning it to blame Obama just won't make it go away, nor will trying to shift attention to him.

It points to a big problem, Sen. Clinton. Solve it. Show yourself "ready on day one". Is that too much to ask?

The media is shamelessly in the tank for Barack Obama, especially the likes of Chris Matthews, Tim Russert, Keith Olbermann, Chris Wallace and Randi Rhodes. She probably wrote in his contract some legalese that if he causes harm to her compain he forfets any payment.. Bet she finds a way out of paying him.

None of this spins away that Hillary needs to pay her bills. Doesn't matter if Obama "is unelectable"; if that is the case, then neither candidate is fit. How can you manage a country, when you can't successfully manage a campaign? That is EXACTLY what the GOP will argue. Like it or not, the GOP would be right.

If you truly support Hillary Clinton, press her to pay her bills.

Are some of you just "STUPID" or is it just memory loss???? Just how in hell can the Republicans throw stones about spending and debt in the upcoming election, when Bush/Cheney have spent more in two years than Bill Clinton did in eight creating a debt that will take until 2050 to pay off????? David, last week you tried to sell the same garbage,please tell us how you come be these lies.Last week it was health care that you said was not paid, what happened to that one. The bills are paid. You are not helping your man Obama by using this kind of crap

Simple, the arguement would go something like this:
"If the media had not gone into the tank for Obama the he would not have attracted so many contributors
The money from these contributors, who really have bought a bill of goods, has forced my campaign to spend a greater rate then previously planned."
This makes HRC the victiim of a biased media.
The real fact is that her campaign finances were based on being "chosen" as the nominee long before any other challenger could mount an effective opposition to her campaign as being the "inevitable nominee". Now supporters can trash this observation, however, it just would show that there is a feeling of "fear", if you will, within her supporter ranks. Since things are not going as per plan. She was supposed to have it all wrapped long before now. As each week goes by there is more chance of slippage, i.e., others openly endorsing the other candidate.
The only thing left to do is go all the way to the convention in hopes that "something" will happen. Unfortunately this was not in the original plan. Also this requires $$ in ever increasing amounts. Possibly, the shift of donations to her opponent may signal what the "smart" money has decided. This being that the idea of "inevitability" is no longer set in concrete. As the saying goes, follow the money. If the money is going more heavily to another candidate the that candidate is looked at as a "winner".

The next person who should leave the Clinton campaign is Hillary. McCain has all the time he needs to find the strongest running mate, while Obama works full time to get a nomination he's already earned. He needs to be working to find a potential VP who balances his age, ideology, geography, etc. Here's how it should, and still can, work:

I think that this may be wishful think on your part. The chances that she would drop out are NOT in her plans. This will go all the way to the convention, no matter what the cost to the party, in the end. It is now or never for the Clinton campaign. There is no "2012" or any other future bid. Everything has been been geared to the "2008" campaign. There is no tomorrow.

What does Clinton paying her bills have to do with how much the GOP spent?

NONE of that matters; you can't deflect it away without looking cheesy. She hired people and businesses; they did their job; she owes them the money . . . period. Until SHE pays, it will be a millstone around her neck. . . period. I would say the same for any candidate, and I DO say it to the people who are already elected.
