As a follow-up to my post on Air America's Randi Rhodes' suspension for foulness at an affiliate-sponsored event, AA announced today that Randi has quit rather than apologize. It's a damn shame, but for the best. Obama doesn't need that kind of support and Clinton and Ferraro didn't deserve that language. Green Family, give Seder his show back. Good Luck, Randi....Air America and more at HuffPo.

My buddy, Cliff Schecter, has an explosive new book out - The Real McCain: Why Conservatives Don't Trust Him and Why Independents Shouldn't . This book (#3 in political books) highlights how the McCain we see is not the McCain those close to him have had to deal with. Read some excerpts at HuffPo. So far, McCain is denying one of the books' allegations. I am impatiently awaiting my copy.

Senator Orrin Hatch (R-UT) has written a song for John McCain. I can't wait to hear it! For those of you not familiar with Sen. Hatch's music, be sure to check it out here. Also available on 8-track tape. - Wonkette

Jon Stewart (who Trent Lott called Jon Snyder today on MSNBC) has unveiled a new feature called "Dick Move of the Week". Warning: brief animated representation of the male anatomy depicted wearing Chucks.
