Obama mentioned his church during his appearance with Oprah. It's the 'Trinity United Church of Christ'.

It is very alarming. Barack Obama is a member of this church and is running for President of the U.S. If you look at the first page of their Web site, you will learn that this congregation has a non-negotiable commitment to Africa. No where is America even mentioned. Notice too, what color you will need to be if you should want to join Obama's church? Does this surprise anyone?

What a GREAT article. Obam spoke the absolute truth. I am white, don;t own a gun and consider myself religious. I am bitter as hell. 16 years ago when my son was born I have put $200.00 per month into a mutual fund to save for his college education. I did the same for my daughter 13 years ago. It was difficult on my budget but I did it because education is a priority. Well my son wants to go to Johns-Hopkins to study engineering and guess what it is $35,000 a year. I have $45,000 saved. Granted more than a lot of people but not enough. I have worked hard my whole life and I don't have enough to send my kids to college. Of course they can work but that is not the point. I just want to know how the Clintons earned 112 million in 5 years. Obama called it right on..under Regan/Bush/Clinton/Bush there has been no economic boom for me. I'm mad as hell. Today, the Obama campaign is circulating a letter describing his controversial remarks in San Francisco last Sunday:

What Sen. Obama said is that over the last 25-30 years, working class people in places like Pennsylvania have been falling behind, and that politicians in Washington haven’t been looking out for them. He also said that, as a result, many people have become frustrated, angry and even bitter about all the broken promises.
That is not all that Sen. Obama said. The campaign is attempting to paper over the most controversial portion of his remarks:

You go into some of these small towns in Pennsylvania, and like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. So it's not surprising then that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.

If you want to see a repeat of 1972 or 1984 or 1988 or 2004, you go right ahead and vote for Obama. If you want to save Roe v. Wade, protect the 4th Amendment, protect the enviroment and prevent the GOP from getting a Supreme Court majority for the rest of our lifetimes, vote for Hillary--it's just that simple.She's the only one who can fully unite the Democratic Coalition and win in the most important election in our lifetime.
