Barack Obama doesn’t like debates or interviews. If it’s not scripted, he ends up floundering. There are many independents, like myself, who wanted to know the answers to the questions asked during the first 45 minutes that caused such a ruckus. So what that he got some tough questions. Do you really think he’s not going to get scrutiny as a president? Give me a break!

He floundered again when he said there would be no new taxes on people who earn below $200,000 and then said he’d consider raising the cap on the social security tax…which affects people who make more than $93,000 or $97,000. So how is that not new taxes.
These debates are effective because they show how phony Barack Obama is. He gives a good speech, but out side of those parameters, he doesn’t do well.

Conflict is a given in politics. He needs to learn to take it or move aside and let someone who can take over.

His refusal to agree to seat the Michigan and Florida delegates will come back to haunt him. With the race SO close, there is no way anyone will believe that HE won the nomination fairly unless Michigan and Florida are seated as voted. How dare the DNC think they can silence ANY voter.

The newscasts are saying Obama is and has been outspending Clinton on advertising by 3 to 1 or 4 to 1 margins in the primary states. Wouldn't it be nice if, instead of running ads, he would just stand
up and tell the truth about his background, assoicates and voting record. (Is this a racist comment?) Obama supporters will probably

For me, neither race nor gender is the issue. I have nothing against Obama for any reason other than experience. In fact, in eight years, he might very well have my vote. CLINTON BACKER PRAISES FARRAKHAN - BYE TO THE JEWISH VOTE

At last Tuesday's Democratic debate, Sen. Hillary Clinton drew out her objections to Sen. Barack Obama's relationship with his former pastor Reverend Jeremiah Wright, saying that what troubled her was not just Wright's incendiary language, but his past praise for Louis Farrakhan, the controversial head of the Nation of Islam.

"It is clear that, as leaders, we have a choice who we associate with and who we apparently give some kind of seal of approval to," said Clinton. "And I think that it wasn't only the specific remarks but some of the relationships with Reverend Farrakhan, with giving the church bulletin over to the leader of Hamas, to put a message in."

But if an association to Farrakhan troubles Clinton, she may need to focus her attention and criticisms on one of her most prominent Pennsylvania supporters.

In April 1997, Ed Rendell -- then the mayor of Philadelphia and currently the governor of Pennsylvania and a major Clinton surrogate -- delivered a passion-filled speech lauding the work of Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam.

"I would like to thank the Nation of Islam here in Philadelphia," Rendell said to the crowd, as Farrakhan looked on approvingly. "To thank you for what you stand for and what you stand for all the good it does to so many people in Philadelphia.
