Is It Hillary's Turn to 'Denounce and Reject' a Problematic Pastor?

We hear about Rev. Wright’s racism 24/7, but there's nary a peep about Clinton's former pastor William Procanic who's been convicted for sexual child abuse.

Obama had to deal with this once and for all --- since the Republicans in NC were getting a lot of mileage out of this and eroding Obamas lead in NC.

His trip back to Chicago last week to meet with his advisors helped lay out the plan to have Rev. Wright reiterate all the negative hateful things he has said already but in a public forum. This way Obama could have a staged public breakup with Rev. Wright.

This is so transparent. Rev. Wright gets the spotlight he craves and Obama can distance himself from his Achilles Heel. Of course the pro-Obama prepaid media machine is praising this move as the best thing ever.

I think we know what's going on.

Wright may not be the man Obama knew 20 yrs ago --- we all change. Notwithstanding, no one can’t make me believe that Obama is only just now learning that one of his closest advisors during the past 20 years has the leanings he has. Seems to me Obama underestimated just how much one of his closest advisors wanted to make public his leanings.

Obama himself appears to have a time staying off the topic of religion and politics. He doesn’t seem to have trouble dancing around other topics he won’t go into. Hmmmm,,,

If Obama is so un-savvy as to not recognize this kind of political trouble, I’m not sure I want this in a leader for the US.

OBAMA DIDN’T HAVE A PROBLEM WITH WRIGHT UNTIL HIS POLL NUMBERS DROPPED! Obama has had plenty of opportunities, during this race, AND during the past 20 years, to do what he did on April 29, but Rev. Wright had never put Obama down before. That made him willing to turn against the pastor, who — a few weeks ago Obama said that he could never turn from. Obama will say anything to get what he wants.

Because he has now disrespected Obama, Obama is now willing to confront Wright’s horrible remarks — one by one. HE SHOULD HAVE DONE THIS AT LEAST A YEAR AGO! TOO LITTLE — TOO LATE.

Obama listened to and approved of Wright for 20 years. It’s impossible to believe that he never heard Wright’s radical rants. Obama is not that stupid. This is the very philosophy of the church that he has attended for years. If he has that much “blindness” on something as important as foundational philosophical beliefs of his own church, why would he think he could deal with crafty foreign leaders and run our country?

If you listen to Michelle Obama, it certainly sounds like she has heard and believed the teachings against America, that have been preached by her pastor. Don’t forget Obama’s ties to Ayers, Rezko, Farrakhan, Malcolm X, the Black Panthers, and many other anti-Americans and terrorists.

May God help us to have the grace and love to do what s right for our country — no matter what our skin color. Race is a factor — we are all members of the Human Race!

Mr OBAMA ha demostrado tener una trayectoria limpia y brillante.Asi se le achaque alguna fatua proximidad a algun mistico algo zafado.

When this story first broke, Wright was everywhere, the media crammed him down our throats.

Obama made his "throw his Grandmother under the bus" speech, and poof Wright was gone.

From Friday April 25, 08 through Tuesday April 30, 08 Wright was everywhere, the media crammed him down our throats.

Obama made his "throw his Pastor under the bus" speech, and poof Wright is gone.

Now is there a pattern here or what?

So ... Where is Wright NOW ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Barack Obama has no control over Wright. To blame him for the media's creation is silly. Anyone who finds this an issue when Americans are being raped at the gas pumps, when soldiers are dying everyday as we sit comfortably in our homes blogging and commenting on websites, when veterans can't get solid care after serving their countries, when hard-working Americans are losing their homes, are not facing the real issue of their dislaike for Obama. It is bigotry and baseless fear that drives this non issue. It is time for Americans to face the issue of Race and until we do silly issues will eclipse important ones.

Here's one that neither of the Demo frontrunners will touch:
Recently the U.S. Congress approved giving a FEDERAL TAX REBATE to residents in Puerto Rico. (Yes, Puerto Rico has been included in Bush's "stimulus" package... BUT WHY?) It's true that all Puerto Ricans are U.S. Citizens, but those who choose to reside in Puerto Rico DO NOT PAY ANY INCOME TAXES into the Federal Treasury - so how can Congress authorize giving a "Refund of Tax" to someone who never paid tax in the first place? That's a huge contradiction - but that's what they've done and it's no small matter!


In effect what Congress has done is to reimburse part of what WE Stateside residents paid into the U.S. Treasury, and gave it to people who have paid nothing. So that's really a NEW TAX ON US, for the benefit of some non-U.S. residents. We shouldn't begrudge Puerto Ricans participation in the stimulus tax rebate - as long as they live and work in the 50 States - and pay into the federal tax system.

Any way you slice it, for us it's a new tax because it's money we paid into the U.S. Treasury that's being given away. For the "rebate" recipients residing in Puerto Rico it's a new Federal WELFARE handout - for which they have contributed nothing. To make matters worse, our Treasury Secretary is letting Puerto Rico's Departamento de Hacienda (Internal Revenue) determine who will get the "rebate" by their own set of rules and criteria. It's in their interest to give it to everyone because after all, it costs them nothing - it's a total freebie for them - but not for us!

How much will this cost us? Puerto Rico's politicians say that the island's residents will receive "in excess of one billion dollars" from this freebie. And it will be us, the residents of the 50 States, who will have to replace that one billion dollars in the U.S. Treasury because we pay federal taxes - Puerto Rico residents do not pay federal income taxes.

We hear the constant whining and campaigning about how Americans are struggling financially - and then our representatives in Washington hit us with a new Billion dollars in tax? And they sneak it in through the back door so that no one notices. This is inexcusable and should cause outrage in all federal tax-paying citizens?

Wright is very much an issue ,

our present is influenced by our past. and the people who are a part of it.

to assume that Obama was an innocent bystander, and that he was such an important person, that Wright avoided saying anything out of turn when he was in the building is to say, we do not need air to breathe.

this is not so much about Wright, as it is the relationship that Obama had with him.

Obama is a practicing racist. he wrote about it in his books, he wrote one book based on a sermon Wright wrote, called "the audacity of hope".

the type of sermons that Wright gave were not of hope.

but of hatred and he perpetuated that hatred instead of lessoning it. and there are a group of blacks that want revenge, they want power, and that is the group that Wright preached to, and that Obama belonged to
whether some of you like it or not.

I am not a racist, but you will label me one, so be it.

Obama is a very dangerous man, with very dangerous friends. and if the republicans knew about Wright they know a lot more, and they will not be afraid to use it.

Hillary has the qualifications, and the solutions to bring this country back to what it was, and up and into THE GREAT NATION it can be.

WELL, IF HILLARY LOSES AND THEN SHE CROSSES OVER, GOES ON THE TICKET WITH JOHN MCCAIN, THAT WILL BE THE WINNING TICKET THIS YEAR. NO ONE LIKES BARR, HILLARY PEOPLE WILL LEAVE OBAMA AND MCCAIN AND HILLARY WILL TAKE THE NOMINATION THIS YEAR.
