As Senator Clinton has said, this is an extremely close race with Clinton having 47.5% of the delegates to Obama's 52.5%. Clinton is no way a "loser" or a quitter. Nearly half of those voting in the Democratic primairies, even if one does not count Michigan or Floriday, voted for her. To dismiss those voters, and those who have yet to vote,as well as those in Michigan and Florida, is anti-American. In American, every vote counts. Those calling for Clinton to quit are unpatriotic. They do not respect either the democratic process or their fellow Americans. Senator Obama needs to remind his groupies that their calls for Clinton to quit portrait him in a bad light to the voters in this country and the international community.

I'm a New Yorker and I support Hillary 1000%.

Everyone can see that this was blown way out of proportion.

I have been a democrat all my life, and I will NEVER vote for Obama.

Media is in the tank for him.

Now that the nomination is apparently within his grasp, Obama would do well to take a step back from his "Yes we can!" and "America, change is coming!" vision for America. The record voter turn-outs in W.Virginia and Kentucky (a solidly "red" state which Bill Clinton carried in both elections) despite the fact that Clinton could not catch-up with Obama in delegates signals that a significant portion of the traditional Democratic base --- blue collar workers, women and seniors --- do not yet share Obama's vision.

Combining Obama's visionary and inspiring rhetoric with Clinton's pragmatic and experienced approach to implementing change would conclusively demonstrate that Obama "gets it" that the electorate has voted it's desire for a more INCLUSIVE vision for America. Naming Clinton as his VP would re-unite Democratics, and signal "Change" which includes the historic candidacy with a black man and a woman at the top of the ticket!!!

This past Friday, during a meeting with a newspaper editorial board, I was asked about whether I was going to continue in the presidential race.

I made clear that I was - and that I thought the urgency to end the 2008 primary process was unprecedented. I pointed out, as I have before, that both my husband’s primary campaign, and Sen. Robert Kennedy’s, had continued into June.

Almost immediately, some took my comments entirely out of context and interpreted them to mean something completely different - and completely unthinkable.

I want to set the record straight: I was making the simple point that given our history, the length of this year’s primary contest is nothing unusual. Both the executive editor of the newspaper where I made the remarks, and Sen. Kennedy’s son, Bobby Kennedy Jr., put out statements confirming that this was the clear meaning of my remarks. Bobby stated, “I understand how highly charged the atmosphere is, but I think it is a mistake for people to take offense.”

I realize that any reference to that traumatic moment for our nation can be deeply painful - particularly for members of the Kennedy family, who have been in my heart and prayers over this past week. And I expressed regret right away for any pain I caused.

But I was deeply dismayed and disturbed that my comment would be construed in a way that flies in the face of everything I stand for - and everything I am fighting for in this election.

Hillary has made these same comments about June and her husband and RFK and others in the past.

Axelrod issued a statement to blow this up in the media and they are the ones who caused this comical display of a media frenzy.

Obama is 52 delegates away from the nomination. I believe he will have those after May 31st?? In any event he will have what he needs one week from Tueaday. No one thinks Hillary is a loser and she should stay in the race as long as she can afford to compete, or Obama reaches the delegates needed, which is 52 more. I honestly think Obama is more electable than Hilary is when it comes to the democratic party.

Hilary just carries to much baggage. You have NAFTA, Whitewater, Bill sexial misconduct, and she isn't very well received from either republicans or democrats.

In my honest opinion I only think she has been in this long because republicans have been voting for her, because she is more beatable.
