No political person in this country's history has made as many blunders, told as many lies or embarrassed this country as much as Bush. He has made this country the laughing stock of the world. He has plunged this country into debt we can't pay off for what is estimated to be 80 yrs., and sees the Presidency as a ticket to strip people of rights promised us in The Bill of Rights. Billy Carter could have done a better job, and you want to single out Obama? Keep dreaming people, he will be the next preident.

Obamas speech on Memorial Day-

Obama pandered for the woman vote in New Mexico singling out women veterans as particularly susceptible to post-tramautic stress disorder.

OBAMA: We're going to have hundreds of thousands of new veterans coming in, many of them who suffer post-traumatic stress disorder. They are not being diagnosed quickly enough, they're not getting the services that they need quickly enough.

And, sadly, the group of veterans that are probably being most neglected in this area are women veterans. We've got to do a better job of creating facilities.... specifically for women veterans.

And part of what we need is to recognize that oftentimes our women servicemembers are more prone to post-traumatic stress disorder partly because they -- there's a sad, but real, problem of sexual harassment and sexual abuse for women veterans, and that makes them much more prone, then, to have post-traumatic stress disorder.

Some are mistakes, but some are just lies, and I think he's starting to lie about his heroic family...kind of like how he lied saying that the Kennedy's flew his Kenyan father over from Kenya because of the 1965 Selma marches, when Obama was actually born in 1961 and the whole thing was a lie.

I read one of the articles about the flap. This is more of the same that both Sen. Clinton and Sen. Obama have thrown at each other. The only difference is that the Republicans are out for blood. Their over-the-top reaction and the way they belittled Sen. Obama shows me one thing. Sen. Obama is going to have to endure a lot more from the Republican Party than he did from the Clinton campaign.

People talk about the Democratic nominating race as being so brutal and I am with George Will on this one; it has been a relatively tame and civil fight compared to many others.

Once again, there is no scandal in my opinion. Huh, what do you know? I'm sticking up for Sen. Obama on this one. The RNC's remarks:

People who live in glass houses should never throw stones or talk about their opponent's gaffes. A day after giving a memorial day speech on the heroism of this "uncle who liberated a concentration camp in Auschwitz" Barack Obama's staff had to put out a statement correcting the claims. Obama doesn't have an uncle who served in World War II. His mother is an only sibling. Instead, it was his great uncle Charlie Payne who served in the 89th Infantry Division which assisted in the liberation of Ohrdruf on April 4, 1945. Bill Burton a spokesman for the campaign said Obama meant to say Ohrdruf a camp associated with Buchenwald and not Auschwitz (which was liberated by the Red Army). To be clear, Obama isn't without faults. After all, this isn't the first time he has confused incidents in history. Earlier in the race he claimed his parents participated in a civil rights march in Selma, Ala. Not true. His parents didn't participate in the march, and he wasn't conceived during the 1965 march (as he said in one of his speeches). He was born in 1961. To be fair, the Obama camp aren't trying to hide these gaffes, it's just that the liberal media, who are suffering from a serious "man crush", aren't reporting on them. By the way, did anyone see Keith Olbermann lambasting Obama for any of his gaffes? If you recall, he came short of demanding Clinton wear skirts and not pants over her recent gaffe. Perhaps this is why Clinton's supporters say the media is biased against her.

Seriously is this all the Republicans got against Obama?! Give me a break! It was Buchenwald instead of Auschwitz. Pretty much this is NOT a story, and I am not offended considering that my Great Grandfather lost his family in concentration camps, and barely escaped with his life. Good morning. I'm sorry but I must disagree with you on this one. It seems different to me, maybe it's heritage interference. I really don't care about his getting his family mixed up, but I don't think it's a small thing that he doesn't seem to know much about world war two. And I find comments I've read on these threads like, oh big deal Buchenwald, Auschwitz, who cares, what's the difference really offensive.
I do completely agree with you though, Obama hasn't seen nuthin yet. If his campaign has been so outraged by the things Hillary has said when she wasn't even talking about him, it's gonna be a bumpy ride from here on out.
