Obama Embarrassed by Americans

Whenever I listen to Obama, what little 'French' that I know races through my mind. What are the odds of Obama's followers also worrying about not blending in with the European culture?

I think Obama is in-love with hearing himself speak, and his arrogance is pushing the limits a bit.

Larger than life idealism creates a lot of pressure on an individual, and in the long run most don't live up to our expectations.

White Americans are superior to all other countries with colored people. We do not have the time to waste learning a second language. If the rest of the world wants to understand us, they can learn English. They are fools to think we have to learn their language. We are the superior ones, they dow down to us they need to learn to understand us, not the other way around. Anyone who thinks that they even come close to being as great as we are are in for a rude awakening, we might shove a few bombs down your throat. Wake up people, you are the slave to our wants, learn to talk to us, not that we would listen.

Many of "our children" do speak multiple languages. Most colleges require a foreign language. Hopefully, the Hispanics will see this for the pandering it is. It's one thing to talk a good game, and another to show it.

When you twisted the words around, you implied that she never was proud and when you left really proud out you elimenated the degree of pride which she clearly sated. Why don't you learn English

I am so surprised by these comments. Please, take a trip outside your comfort zone. Go to Europe and see how many people speak our language out of courtesy! Then see the many Americans who don't even bother to learn a simple "thank you" or a "please" in another country's language. We Americans can be a very arrogant bunch. If you won't learn some simple phrases yourself, at least don't deny your children the opportunity to learn another language.

My concern where Obama is concerned is the racist church he attended for 20 yrs. Was he deaf, dumb, & blind when it came to what was apparently the church doctrine. Perhaps he simply slept through the sermons. Seriously, I would like to hear a full explanation from him concerning this.

Barack is an embarrassment to this country so with the people that supports him. Even my 9 years old son knows that people that come to this country needs to learn our language not the other way around. It doesn't mean I deny my son to learn other language he he just don't want to.

Most colleges do require another language. I have four kids who are fluent in Spanish. I just wonder where civility in our country's English speaking people has gone.

To put you back on topic, the Students in Aruba learn at least eight languages. They depend on the tourist trade therefore, the students are prepared to communicate with a variety of foreign visitors.

Barbados and Bahama's student populations are also impressive.

Our children must be prepared to compete in a "global economy."
