I find that Mr. Obama has alot of the same cronyism that plagues most Illinois politicians. The idea that 'change' is in his lexicon is most disturbing, especially since alot of liberals are buying into the socialists ideas, or lack thereof.

I agree , we can't get good reporting on anything over here from these two authors , so I hope they get paid by the blogs . If we quit blogging , maybe they will be replaced .

It is doubtful that all the money in the world can buy this election for the pathetic little Obama boy. The more I see of his arrogance and ego, the more he reminds me of my six year old grandson who's whole view of life is "me, me, me" and "I want it all and I want it RIGHT NOW."

His carefully orchestrated campaign that hides him from the voters will not work.

Not only will he lose, but my siphoning off all the money intended for the DNC, the 50 state initiative and the election of other Congressmen and women, he may well be the downfall of the party for years to come. Time will tell how much of this is illegal foreign contributions and darn, I don't know the zip code in Pakistan, Yemen, Iran and the 57 nations of Islam.

I didn't think there was a way for the Democrats to lose this year.. I was wrong.......

There is one good reason to vote for McCain (or Hillary) he is an adult and..he is NOT the Obama Boy.

Thanks for the link to An Open Letter To Racists (or something really close to that). It was the article I was talking about.

TO: Tommy Christopher

It was several days after my cat had her stroke and started having seizures and I was anything but spiritual.

I completely missed the satire and my comments reflected that. In my comments, not only had I misinterpreted the polling data in the linked source material, I had paid Katherine a compliment on going after someone with information that was incorrect. I missed her error. My comprehension level that night was non-existent. You nailed me on both my view of the column and my compliment to Katherine.

Surprisingly, there was a comment from Diana thanking me and some of the others for taking part in such a lively debate and then there was my first comment from C. Jenkins, that I am aware of anyhow. Man, I was hurting. I swore I wouldn't read the comments again and take a break from PM. I misunderstood the whole column and thought you were saying that if you couldn't get behind Sen. Obama, you were a racist.

A really good thing came out of that column for me. I actually started reading the comments much more and squared off at one point with C. Jenkins. I got out of my head for a bit nursing the cat back to health and started commenting more again. Now, I was reading the comments and looking for C. Jenkins comments in particular. (And, looking forward to them.)

One day C. Jenkins wrote a really meaningful comment to me, as we were still on opposing sides. That comment was very charitable, inspiring and proved to be the catalyst for my change on Sen. Obama. It was a simple epiphany. I can't make Sen. Obama into Sen. Clinton. I was no longer defensive or angry and I was finally able to see the good in Sen. Obama.

So, long story coming to an end. At that time it seemed that particular column was a disaster, it actually proved to be one of the most positive experiences I have had on The Political Machine.

Thanks to you, Diana and especially C. Jenkins. You never know where you are going to learn your next spiritual lesson and for me it started with the column I hated the most and was the most ill-equipped to deal with at that time. Someday soon I will communicate better with C. Jenkins the spiritual lesson I learned from him. It's one I've already been able to use in dealing with someone else in my non-virtual life. Now, I get to move forward again.

…There are unconfirmed reports based on phone banking efforts to reach out to Super D’s that 8 previously Obama SD’s, expressed that, given the opportunity, they would vote for Hillary at the convention.

Did you get that?

Superdelegates who have “declared” for Obama are now saying that they would vote for Hillary at the convention.

How many more disillusioned SuperDs are out there?

No wonder Obama wants to break with tradition and keep Hillary off the convention ballot, even though she won more popular votes than he did, and neither of them earned enough pledged delegates to secure the nomination.

I heard about an interview Will Bower of PUMA did recently, where he said delegates are starting to say theyll vote for Hillary in Denver if the DNC does the right thing and run an open and fair convention. That means a roll call vote with Hillarys name put into nomination and on the ballot.

So I shot an email to Bower to ask him where he got that info from, and here’s what he sent me regarding the efforts of a friend of his:

“A large phone banking effort to the super d’s combined with Obama’s flips and poor presumptive nominee performance, etc have yielded doubts within the super delegates, enough that 3 elected and 5 DNC members have confided that should they have the opportunity to do so, they will vote for Hillary.”

Maybe this is why BHO and the Toxic Trio are pushing so hard to keep Hillary off the roll call ballot eh? Ive been wondering what theyre so afraid of now it looks like we have part of the answer.

…And points to a Tuesday story in Politico entitled Hill Democrats Miffed at Obama…

I think Politico may have stumbled upon one or two reasons why the Supers are starting to take a fresh look at Hillary….The folks on the Hill (aka Super delegates) are getting pissed at BHO for the lack of effort on his part when it comes to fundraising, coordination and support they’re getting in their own bid for re-election etc. Todays Politico has the story:

After a brief bout of Obamamania, some Capitol Hill Democrats have begun to complain privately that Barack Obamas presidential campaign is insular, uncooperative and inattentive to their hopes for a broad Democratic victory in November.

They think they know whats right and everyone else is wrong on everything, groused one senior Senate Democratic aide. They are kind of insufferable at this point.

I'm not sure if you are aware of that or if it effects the content of your column.

Anyhow, I think the numbers are very impressive. Sen. McCain may have amassed less than Sen. Obama, but they are both doing fine. It's too bad that Sen. Clinton cannot take that money back from her General Election fund and pay down her debt, but that would involve more work for you with graphics. (Just kidding.)

It is amazing to me that no matter who they are for, the passion most people have in this election cycle. Even though I have switched from a protest vote for McCain to voting for Sen. Obama, I have noticed that there are a lot of angry Obama supporters. Why is that? He seems to be doing just fine. Am I the only one that sees this?
