Last year McSame & wife made 50mil he surely has never had the struggles I have. His wife is a former drug addict. If Michelle had done anything of that nature in her past it would be blasted over the airwaves & in the papers. McCain was very close to running as Kerry's VP & they discussed it very heavily. For that Repub's don't fully trust McCain.
The fact is McCain supporters can make up all the excuses they want, but the fact is that he is behind in the polls.

McCain keeps showing that he is following the GOP mantra: "Real men don't think things through". First there was his cry for doing away with the gas tax. Never mind that it would devistate our road infrastructure that depends on the tax for funding and throw thousands out of work. Never mind that economists were unanimous in saying that it would have little or no effect on the price of gasoline. It is only effecte snobs that think. Real men think with their conojes, as Bush does. Now McCain is doing the same with drilling off shore. Never mind that the the energy department says that it will take 10 years to have any effect and that will be only a few pennies off our gasoline. The people are buying it, and so McCain will ignore reality to wins votes, as Bush did.

On a key floor vote on school vouchers Sen Maj Leader Jones needed all votes to keep measure from being destroyed. He had to pull it back at last minute because BO and 2 others failed to show. BO was asked why. He did what we on south side call the O-Bambi look and said he did not know he needed to be there. Next day Jones said Oh yes he did. Few weeks later reported in local newspaper that he had been out in ski country on junket as guest of a lobbyist. As a result I never voted for him again.

On August 7, 2008, Fox News’ Hannity and Colmes aired a tape of a seven-year-old girl asking Senator Barack Obama why he was running for president.

According to Fox’s Allan Colmes, Obama “offered what some are viewing as a scary response.”

Senator Obama was shown saying, “I’m running for president because of — because I got two daughters just like you. America is — is no longer what it could be, what it once was. And I say to myself, ‘I don’t want that future for my children.’”

Former Governor Mike Huckabee commented, “What see saw is a candidate who is exhausted --- This was a very, very serious tactical error. It’s that kind of comment that does come back to haunt a candidate.”

I am appalled at the way Obama answered the child’s question --- he really fumbled trying to respond to it!

IT IS A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF WHY HE WILL NOT TAKE PART IN THE TOWN HALL MEETINGS --- there might be some other little girls around who will trip him up and make him look even more incompetent than he already does. Those little girls can be treacherous! He simply cannot perform well without pre-scripted speeches and teleprompters.
