Race is not the issue. The issue is Obama has no accomplishments . . . He is in his late 40's and I don't know of one program or piece of legistation or important stand he can put his name on . . . that BS about being against the war, does't impress me one bit. If he had been in a position to actually vote, then I might believe it. He is the same guy who voted "present" more than 100 times rather than taking a stand in his state legislature. The man is an empty suit, and that is why this life long Democrat will be forced to vote for John McCain.

Face FACTS if John McSame was a TV Show he would be cancel for lack of viewer ship.
Obama is getting more money and more crowds. Obama will win New Jersey, New York, Conn, Mass, Penn, Maryland, Del, and Vermont, Virginia is a toss up
North Caroline, South Caroline and Georgia if the blacks come out in record numbers he will take those states because blacks are 20% of the population and Georgia and North Caroline are college town so he will get the youth vote and the liberals elite/egghead votes.
Florida Obama is already getting 67% of the Hispanic and 63% of the Jewish vote. If Obama can get those folks to come out in record number he will win Florida (Gore almost won Florida and Obama is already better draw than Gore.) In All scenarios Obama just need to get 38% of the white vote (he already get 42.5% white vote) In my State Obama still have his office open and I have not seen one McCain office open. I guess that was the benefit of having a long primary battle with Clinton he still have boots on the ground in my state. NUMBERS DON'T LIE. People do. Obama is getting more money and attract more people. It’s very clear who will win. Dam the national polls...look at the state-to-state polls.

McCain has belonged to this DO NOTHING Congress for 26yrs. McCain is part of the problem. McCain is on the campaign stump blame Bush for the fail economy policy for the past 8yrs but forget to tell voters in his rambling rhetoric that he voted for Bush policy 90% of time. So that is blatant hypocrisy.

It's about time you stopped the last worthless "hot seat" poll re vacation. I believed we learned from that one that NOBAMA and nancy&harry were taking their vacations at tax payer expense while the tax payer stays home-to expensive for most americans. This one will prove that NOBAMA Is : to liberal to black and to moslem for most of us.

The media are so interested in stirring up race issues, only half of the Democrats voted for Obama the other half for Clinton, are all those people racist? I challenge anyone to Google Obama and spend 30 minutes reading about him and still want to vote for him. The media has everyone thinking they are like the KKK if they don't support Obama instead of the facts. Obama is a socialist, would like to tax everyone more, watch gas prices go to $7 a gallon, so no one drives and adds to the carbon foot print, while China with half as many cars, is polluting twice as much. The quickest way out of our financial woes is to get energy prices down ASAP, and if congress approved drilling offshore, in ANWR and other places the price of oil would drop to $80 a barrel in a week. We don't need a $1,000 welfare check we need a better economy, giving everyone a $1,000 check from taxing oil companies will just cause oil to go up, and stop the oil companies from investing in alternative energy. The Mc Cain energy plan makes much more sense drill now, use coal, natural gas, nuclear, and bio fuels. Mc Cain's plan will create more jobs and a better economy, rescue our auto makers, and get us off mid-east oil. Obama's plan will cause prices to rise, put the auto makers out of business, lose more jobs and hurt the economy.

Race aside, Obama has nothing new to offer! He is part of this do-nothing Democrat-led Congress that promised to overhaul the entire political face of Washington. They have done nothing since they took control in 2006 except find the most liberal, left-wing, radical candidate to run against Hillary! I am not a 'Crat, but she at least has credentials. Harry Reid & Nancy Pelosi and their cronies are as much of a sham as Obama.
Obama's "credentials" are merely fillers of space on a resume! If anyone has done any hiring, he or she knows how much of a resume is legitimate. Since he has been in Congress, Obama has not even been present 200 days! I want his job! He has spent the past 2 years running for President! Obama is merely a celebrity. We might as well have Barbara Streisand or Alec Baldwin or Susan Sarrandon running for President. Their credentials might be a little more obvious than Obama's since celebrity is all Obama has to offer the American people! We don't need a movie or TV star; we need LEADERSHIP.
Vote McCain in November even if he's not your 1st choice...It's a vote AGAINST Obama!

Fit 2 Lead -- so Obama can read and write and graduate from a good college . . . the man is now in his late 40's and has no legacy . . . no important legislation, no programs that have been instituted. Have you every heard of an articulate incompetent . . . We don't need another person to preach to us about how it should be, we need someone who has demonstrated his/her ability to make things happen. I'm sorry to say, when I look at Obama's last of accomplishments, I see another bag of wind in an empty suit.

------------------------------------------------------Obama’s Inexperience Tough to Ignore

By: Ronald Kessler Article Font Size
A close look at Barack Obama's career reveals it has been even more mediocre than generally recognized.
Before being elected to the Illinois state Senate, Obama worked as a community organizer and a lawyer in Chicago.
In his memoir, Obama says being a community organizer taught him how to motivate the powerless and work the government to help them. His chief example is an effort to remove asbestos from Altgeld Gardens, an all-black public housing project on Chicago’s South Side.
But those who were involved in the effort say Obama played a minor role in working the problem and never accomplished his goal. A pre-existing group at Altgeld Gardens and a local newspaper, the Chicago Reporter, were working on the problem before Obama came on the scene, yet Obama does not mention them in his book, “Dreams From My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance.”
“Just because someone writes it, doesn't make it true,” says Altgeld resident Hazel Johnson, who had been pushing for a cleanup of the cancer-producing substance years before Obama showed up.
Rep. Bobby L. Rush, D-Ill., says it was Johnson's work, along with asbestos testing by the Chicago Reporter, that got Chicago officials interested in the issue. Rush, who launched an inquiry into the situation when he was a member of the Chicago City Council, says he is “offended” that Obama did not mention Johnson in his account.
“Was [Obama] involved in stuff? Absolutely,” says Robert Ginsburg, an activist who worked with Johnson and Obama on the problem. “But there was stuff happening before him, and after him.”
After three years working as an organizer, Obama could say he helped obtain grants for a jobs program and got asbestos removed from some pipes in the project. But as the Los Angeles Times has noted, the “large-scale change that was needed at the 1,998-unit project was beyond his reach.” To this day, most of the asbestos remains in the apartments.
Fruitless though his efforts were, Obama devoted more than 100 pages to his experiences at Altgeld Gardens and surrounding areas. Michelle Obama has said his work as a community organizer helped him decide “how he would impact the world,” assisting people to improve their lives. Yet, in a revealing passage in his book, Obama wrote, “When classmates in college asked me just what it was that a community organizer did, I couldn’t answer them directly.”
Instead, he said, “I’d pronounce on the need for change. Change in the White House, where Reagan and his minions were carrying on their dirty deeds. Change in the congress, compliant and corrupt. Change in the mood of the country, manic and self-absorbed. Change won’t come from the top, I would say. Change will come from a mobilized grass roots.”
Thus, Obama admitted that he accomplished little but that he was able to cover that up with fancy talk about change.
After going to Harvard Law School, Obama returned to Chicago, where he briefly headed a voter registration drive and then became a lawyer. While Obama’s campaign has touted him as a civil rights lawyer, “Over the nine years that Obama’s law license was active in Illinois, he never handled a trial and mostly worked in teams of lawyers who drew up briefs and contracts in a variety of cases,” according to David Mendell’s “Obama: From Promise To Power.”
A review of the cases Obama worked on during his brief legal career “shows he played the strong, silent type in court, introducing himself and his client, then stepping aside to let other lawyers do the talking,” the Chicago Sun-Times has reported.
“A search of all the cases in Cook County Circuit Court in which Obama made an appearance since he graduated from Harvard in 1991 shows: zero,” the article said.
Instead, his practice was “confined mainly to federal court in Chicago, where he made formal appearances in only five district court cases and another five in cases before the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals — a total of 10 cases in his legal career,” the paper said.
If Obama had virtually no impact as either a community organizer or as a lawyer, he was even more invisible in the state Senate and later in the U.S. Senate.
In both bodies, Obama had a reputation for voting “present,” thus avoiding controversial decisions that could be used against him later. In the U.S. Senate, he has missed more than one in five votes.
Only one of the measures Obama has sponsored as a U.S. senator was enacted: a bill to “promote relief, security, and democracy in the Democratic Republic of Congo.”
Contrary to Obama’s portrayal of himself as a unifier, on every bipartisan effort in the Senate to forge compromises on tough issues, Obama has been missing in action.
In sum, it would be difficult to imagine a more mediocre record. Most candidates for dog catcher have contributed more to society. Yet with the help of adoring reporters, Obama has managed to parlay extraordinary speaking and political skills into a presidential campaign built on sand.
The idea that America might entrust its security and future to someone who has never demonstrated an ability to get anything of significance done is scary.
Look for John McCain to begin exploiting this vulnerability after Labor Day. -----------------------------------------------------
Subject: 143 days
"From the time Barack Obama was sworn in as a United State Senator, to the time he announced he was forming a Presidential exploratory committee, he logged 143 days of experience in the Senate. That's how many days the Senate was actually in session and working.
After 143 days of work experience, Obama believed he was ready to be Commander In Chief, Leader of the Free World, and fill the shoes of Abraham Lincoln, FDR, JFK and Ronald Reagan.
143 days!!
I keep leftovers in my refrigerator longer than that."

Obama is not getting traction for two reasons: first, he is to the left of ANY major party candidate to ever run for President. He has ties to the Communist Party USA, for God sake! More importantly, he has no energy plan! His advise about tune ups and tire inflation comes out of a 1990 Shell motorist's guide. Autos haven't needed regular "tune-ups" since 1999! Additionally, he bases America's energy survival on technologies not yet invented, much less perfected! He "loves' Europe, but opposes nuclear power, the electrical power source of all of Western Europe! He opposes drilling for oil just about anywhere in America. Right now, and for at least a decade to come, Electricity needs to be generated with Nuclear reaction, clean coal or hydroelectric. Diesel fuel is needed for commercial transportation and gasoline is needed for private transportation. Anybody with an engineering background wouldn't dispute those facts. Obama, however, lives in a world of propaganda and ignorant bliss! NO Brains, no headaches!

From the independent Tax Policy Center:
"Senator McCain’s tax cuts would primarily benefit those with very high incomes, almost all of whom would receive large tax cuts...Senator Obama offers much larger tax breaks to low- and middle income taxpayers" Same study also estimates that McCain tax policy would add a trillion more to the deficit and debt than Obama's.
The American Dream is increasingly out of the grasp of families who work hard every day at two or more jobs to make ends meet. Home values have already dropped by 15% or more, as the lousy mortgages made possible by the likes of McCain pal Phil Gramm (remember the Enron loophole, nation of whiners?) drag down the most important investment most people make.
Energy policy? That's something for oil men to decide--ask Cheney or the guys McCain is listening to.
If you think Bush economic policies have worked well, by all means vote McCain. The rich get richer, everybody else falls behind.
McCain's way is Bush's way--what a revolting development.

Fit 2 lead, you base your admiration for Obama on his two "self written" books. Basically that is a good portion ot the problem. He has created his own election PROPAGANDA, with no debate as of yet from the media. He has been allowed to be whatever he wants to be! It would be kind of like going into a job interview without references! So far, the only references Obama has other than himself, are Rev Wright, Richard Daley, Bill Ayers, and George Soros. Nobody there who's word I would take on anything! As far as a do-nothing Congress, I believe that Obama has been a Senator for the last 143 days, though I understand he hasn't been there much!

Can some of you read ? Obama's accomplishments are many. One bothers me is that the few of you spreading lies about his record have nothing to speak of in terms of accomplishments. He has more intelligence in his little finger than some of you have. By the way, How many of you have written one book. Then look at McCain. He graduated in the bottom half in military school. He got preferential treatment because he came from a military family. He has no accomplishments in being a CEO and if the campaign he is running is an indication of how he will govern, Bush may not be the worse president after all.

Obama's resume: Military service: NONE; Business experience: NONE; Jobs created: NONE; Legislation written: NONE; Cases tried in court of law: NONE. Tell me again why this marginally competent individual should be President! Reading off a teleprompter and speaking with emotion is not a qualification to be President! Folks could be interviewed on the street outside a Cubs game for the Democratic nominee, and we could do better than OBAMA!

He is too far left for the country. And no matter how hard he flip-flops he is not convincing anyone that he can be a Centrist. Considering his distaste for some aspects of American symbolism, i.e. the flag pin, the pledge of allegiance, 4th of July fireworks, not to mention that he does not consider America to be Christian Nation any longer, puts him left of Karl Marx. America may be ready to experience some socialistic attributes i.e. national health care, but should never succumb to the disastrous Robin Hood philosophy Barack Obama advocates.

RACE IS NOT A FACTOR FOR MANY AMERICANS. HOWEVER, RACE IS A FACTOR FOR SOME BLACK AMERICANS. OBAMA IS BI-RACIAL. NONETHELESS, SOME AMERICANS,INCLUDING OBAMA HIMSELF, PREFER TO BE SEEN AS SIMPLY BLACK. OBAMA'S CREDIBILITY IS IN QUESTION WHENEVER HE PLAYS THE RACE CARD. I ALSO QUESTION HIS BLOVIATING GENERALITIES WITHOUT SUBSTANCE. HOW CAN ANY RATIONAL PERSON BELIEVE IN OBAMA WHEN HE DOES NOT CLARIFY WHAT HE MEANS BY "CHANGE?" I OFFER ONE EXAMPLE. DURING THE PRIMARY, OBAMA OPPOSED FISA. DURING THE GENERAL,OBAMA VOTED FOR FISA THERBY GRANTING IMMUNITY TO THE TELECOM COMPANIES. ALSO, OBAMA 'S LITANY LIST OF SHADY CHARACTERS SUGGEST HIS OWN CHARACTER IS IN QUESTION. FINALLY, RHETORIC STEEPED IN POLITICAL EXPEDIENCY SUGGEST BLATANT HYPOCRISY.

Fit to Lead? Your delusional, even his auto-biography shows how much of a negro/radical/marxist he is. He has no business running for the most powerful job in the world. He is a joke, and a economical ass on top of it. He also hates the military, he wants to disarm us, he wants to raise taxes, and yes your poor ass will get the brunt of those tax increases just like all the rest of us. So shut the hell up and go peddle your love for Hussien Obama in Germany or the rest of Europe where they want him for president. You will see him get kicked to the curb in November...
