No Edwards: Hillary Wins

Obama Boy can count his lucky stars. If Edward's mistress news had surfaced earlier, there'd be no Obamamania for his left wing nuts. If Hillary & Bill had looked into Obama's checkered past there'd be no Obamania. He was also lucky to have the Republican opposition drop out in the Ill. senate race leaving a weak candidate. Let's hope this rookie won't be lucky again. Save our country, vote McCain!

This is an example of biased and irresponsible journalism. The campaigns are speaking in codes, but you've got to know what happened behind the scene to understand the code. "I Get It!" Hickery Dickery! Playing the race card. "Inevitable." What happened wasn't by accident. If Edwards was disqualified for a sexual scandal, then Hillary would have been a hypocrite. She too would have been eliminated and "Change" would have ruled the day. Hillary lost the election trying to be "Bush-Lite." Democrats think they can be better Republicans than Republicans. They are wrong. Liberals demanded accountability, integrity, and the end of the war. Edwards listened to the Liberal message, but he's a Progressive. That's a loser.

I would not conclude that Edwards ruined Clinton's chances in Iowa. Polling suggests that the majority of Edwards supporters in Iowa would have supported Obama over Hillary.

Hillary lost the Democratic nomination because:

1. She didn't organize her supporters to attend the early caucuses.

2. She had no strategy for the post-Super Tuesday part of the campaign. Again and again you could find people from her campaign predicting that she would sew up the nomination by then.

3. When she was criticized by her opponents, her husband rushed to her defense. As the first womean to have gone this far toward a Presidential nomination, Mrs. Clinton needed to demonstrate that she could stand on her own two feet. You never saw Dennis Thatcher hold press conferences to defend his wife, the Prime Minister of England.

4. The African American commuinty which had always been a source of the political strength of both Clintons left her for Barack Obama.

5. People were tired of the two feuding dynasties: Since 1980, in every national election, a Bush or a Clinton was their party's nominee for President or Vice President. Enough is enough.

But MOST important of all,

5. Hillary voted FOR the Iraqi War and unlike some of her other colleagues, refused to acknowledge that her vote was a mistake. Had she voted against the war or even apologized for that vote, I think she would have overcome all of the other hurdles mentioned above and would have won the Democratic nomination.

So Mr. Wolfson, the fault lies not in the stars but in ourselves.

Hillary also knew about the Edwards affair but couldn't use it for fear it would backfire and Bill's many affairs would be rekindled in the news.

Hillary lost because she hired a "Thug" to run her campaign and left Mark Penn and Bill Clinton to make many of the decisions. Thus, the reason Obama's VP will not be Hillary. He'd be required to duct tape Bill's mouth. Hillary doesn't have the strength to stand alone and speak for herself, therefore not a good leader would she make.

Negative campaigning was Hillary's downfall and it will also be McCain's. Hillary started all this negativity against Obama and she shot herself in the foot. McCain already has a bullet wound in each foot.
Everything leaked to the Media was leaked by Miss Goodie Two Shoes, Hillary Clinton.

I'm disappointed that Hillary, Bill and Chelsea get a chance to speak at the Convention. What about the family dog, doesn't he/she get a chance to "bark" also.
