Of course Russia would listen to Obama, that's one tough hombre. Is he e-mailing Iran in his efforts to persuade them to cease and desist with the nuclear weapons? And has he been texting Bin Laden all this while, striking up a peace deal? I feel safer already.

No one abroad likes McCain. On the other hand, everyone abroad likes Obama. The United States cannot continue to work in a vacuum, so they should act wisely and elect a man or woman, who is capable of working with others.

This has to be the lamest attempt ever by Obama to get credit for something he barely even noticed. What's next? Is he going to take credit for creating the internet away from Gore?

McCain's call to NATO-ize the war is not only frightening, it's also delusional: both NATO and US forces are already stretched beyond the breaking point, even by Joint Chief of Staff chairman Michael Millen's own recent assessment.
But McCain's brain remains undeterred by reality, a fact that became painfully clear today in Des Moines when he also demanded, "The US should immediately convene an emergency session of the United Nations Security Council to call on Russia to reverse course."
The problem with McCain's bold demand about going to the UN is that Russia already tried doing exactly what McCain called for--and got rejected by McCain's neo-con pals in the Bush Administration.
