TV media and radio. This is the only way we can make

McCain's push for drilling is another version of the GOP's mantra" "Real Men Don't Think Things Through". The Energy Department has said that there won't be a significant amount of oil coming on the market for a minimum of ten years. And when our oil comes on market, there will be an "insignificant impact" on gas prices. What will happen is that our oil will go on the world's market so we could well be putting our coast lines in danger for China's benefit. But why bother to think of what will happen? The GOP has shown it doesn't.

We have 3% of the world's oil but use 25%, so there is no way we can drill our way out of our problems. Right now, gas prices are going down because Anmericans are using less of it. Conservation is the quickest way to cut prices, but being thoughtful and not wasteful is something that died with the Depression generation.

Did anyone read Maureen Dowd's article recently? This is a person I've never really cared for; however, when she reported that "Millions and Tens of Millions of dollars" have gone to Obama from very QUESTIONABLE SOURCES in Saudi Arabia, IRAN, Syria, Libya, and millions of Muslims around the world, I had to pay attention.

THE OBAMA CAMP'S RESPONSE WAS THEY ARE TOO BUSY TO CHECK WHERE THE MONEY IS COMING FROM --- Every Muslim around the world is cheering for Obama --- wonder WHY???

eclecticman.......certainly agree with you that the price of oil is comming down, because we are using less, but I also feel that the fact that we are now considering to drill changes the perspective of many around the world, especially oil nations that are manipulating the price of oil, that they need to treat us fair or loose our business, therfore to continue to stay in business and stay competive, they need to lower their price, for their own interest

I am so sorry but is America stupid? I don't care about Obama. But I do care about the future of this country and my future when I get old. There is no way a Republican should ever be re-elected into office at this juncture in our most pressing times. Their policies have always been flawed. I like McCain over Bush. I liked him over Kerry if that would have been the case, but he is not the man for the job at this time. He is like a father set in their ways. How much more maturing can he do? I find southerners to be the most appalling. You sit in poverty, gas prices r more than half the minimum wage. We are in a war with the wrong people. Osama bin LADDEN is still on the loose. It’s YOUR young men and women dying because they joined the armed forces due to lack of jobs and you still hold prey to WHITE SUPREMECY. Are you really that GRITS eating? The reviews are in from Saturday’s Saddleback Civil Forum on the Presidency, moderated by Pastor Rick Warren.

The critics agree --- John McCain’s straight talk emerged as the big winner of the night.

After watching both candidates answer the same set of questions, it’s become clear why Senator Barack Obama has run away from debating John McCain and refused joint town hall meetings.

Senator Obama dodged answering the toughest questions. But John McCain gave straight and direct answers to Rick Warren and the entire audience about issues like national security, personal faith and values, education, taxes, energy, and the Supreme Court.

AS USUAL, OBAMA WAS LYING HIS WAY THRU AND DODGED A MANY QUESTIONS. THE BIG BLUNDER: ALMOST SAID THAT JUDGE CLARENCE THOMAS WAS AN ‘INEXPERIENCED’ JUDGE. INSTEAD OBAMA CAUGHT HIMSELF AND DIDN’T SAY ‘INEXPERIENCED’ TO PUT THE JUDGE DOWN (JEALOUS?).

Saddleback — Warren’s question was: At what point does a baby get human rights in your view?

The question was simple, Warren wanted to know, in the candidate’s minds, when rights begin. Using the word “rights” and asking for their view made it plain that Warren was talking about legal rights.

The two separate answers from the candidates showed a huge contrast between the two.

McCain’s Answer: At the moment of conception. I have a 25-year Pro-life record in the Congress and in the Senate. And as President of the United States, I will be a pro-life president and this presidency will have pro-life policies. That’s my commitment. That’s my commitment to you.

Obama’s Answer: Well, I think that whether you are looking at at it from a theological perspective or a scientific perspective, answering that question with specificity, you know, is above my pay grade.

Then he went on to speak in more general terms, completely sidestepping the actual question itself. He's simply no good without his advisors, his prepared speeches and a teleprompter.

We need an experienced leader!

I'm voting for John McCain.
