Anyone who really believes in Ron Paul's ideals and has any brains knows that Obama's "change" is hollow and worthless. Ron Paul has said that Obama is no different than McCain or Bush, and it's true that Obama wants to continue meddling overseas, as well as in the personal affairs of Americans. Anyone who voted for Ron Paul in the primaries and could take Obama seriously is buying into the hype spread by the mainstream media and is ignoring Ron Paul's message completely.

Now it is clear to me. The Governor of Maine doesn't even know Barack Obama voted for the Patriot Act. I have been expecting average American citizens to know this. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Obama proved tonight that he can lie, exaggerate, and distort with enormously deceptive confidence on par with the man who gave him a gritted-teeth endorsement the night before. His rhetoric is divisive, hate-filled, and discriminatory--who are the "Fat Cats" that he thinks are paying 80% of the taxes in the US? Or is it those whose only crime in his eyes are risking their all to build businesses that emply, train, and prepare those who he will call the "fat cats" of tomorrow? The man is dangerous and knows zip about anything substantive except how to speak eloquently about nothing. His lambast of George W. Bush is unfair and unfounded. He comes across as a guy on the dance floor shuffling his feet but never does any particular dance. At least we knew Slick Willie would say anything to get elected---making him a tough opponent for any honest, informed would be statesmen. Obama only gives us enough information that he likes taxes, thinks government is the answer to just about everything, thinks he can clobber our enemies with words and high sounding nothings, and expects that those who've spent a lifetime of building the economic and brain trust of this nation are good for nothing "fat cats"---once we're all reduced to the level that he keeps referring to as the "middle class" (as if there is really such a thing---and if there is, why won't it stand still enough so we can see who they are?). Bad man, not a patriot worthy of our vote, and certainly does not even come close to appreciating much less preserving free enterprise, individual freedoms, or personal responsibility. Sorry, but this guy and his roadshow are not what we want---Carter Redeux, anyone?

Well, seeing that Ron Paul is clearly opposed to nation building, highly values national sovereignty, loudly calls for less government, and has tremendous integrity and is a true patriot (in the Thomas Jefferson sense of the word)...I fail to see the similarities between him and Mr Obama who is all about...well, Mr Obama. While Ron Paul devotes himself to the restoration of liberty and freedom to our country, Mr Obama smiles for the cameras. While Ron Paul clearly speaks his mind (HIS mind) on the issues, Mr Obama acts out the role he was chosen to play. Ron Paul is a hard worker. Mr Obama is a celebrity. There is a falseness about him, and a conceited arrogance that is very tiresome. I still don't quite understand his need to take that "world tour", inviting his huge (was it 200 plus?) entourage of friends and supporters along, presenting himself as some new world leader and sticking the American workers with the bill. I, for one, would like my money back.

gee, it seems just hours ago republicans were hating architecture, but thatturned out to be a just a phase, too. after having to endure the tedious last eight years, we see how republicans can be so cynical and so completely without excitement for the future. it must be sad for them to fail at every last thing they do.

Mr. Crowley is correct. End Corporate welfare. End Farm subsidies. End inflation taxes and stop printing money to bail out, rich, white, Harvard/Yale/Princeton graduates who seem to be addicted to irresponsibility and non-accountability - stick it to the white man!

Paul is a libertarian. He calls the bush administration 'soft fascism'. The precursor to this soft fascism is deregulated capitalism, or libertarianism.
He's nuts. Vote for Obama.
