I caught up with fellow AOLer and The Young Turks radio host Cenk Uygur today on Radio Row here at the RNC. Since arriving Cenk has been busy interviewing notables such as New Mexico's Heather Wilson, California's Duncan Hunter, RedState founder Josh Trevino and Libertarian Presidential candidate Bob Barr.Cenk's trip here to the RNC and last week's DNC was totally listener supported and he's truly grateful to all the fans that made sure they were receiving his kind of political coverage directly from the source. Cenk has a live feed running on his website right now so you can see who's wandering up and down Radio Row - which is quite the hot spot here for notables. Just today, Katie Couric stopped by and said hello to Cenk and crew. Later on today the feed will be Cenk's show where he'll be interviewing (schedule still developing) former Speaker of the House Tom Delay and Conservative author and columnist Joel Mowbray.

THE DEMOCRATIC CONVENTION WAS ALL ABOUT OBAMA. IT WAS A CIRCUS. THE JUNIOR SENATOR BELONGS IN HOLLYWOOD --- NOT IN OUR WHITE HOUSE. MAYBE THEY KEPT HIS GREEK COLUMNS! HE NEEDS TO TAKE HIS BIG "EGO" AND HATEFUL WIFE WITH HIM. WE REALLY DID NOT NEED A MILLION DOLLAR DOG AND PONY SHOW!
THE REPUBLICAN CONVENTION WAS ALL ABOUT WHAT'S GOOD FOR "AMERICA" --- COUNTRY FIRST!
I don't agree with anyone on ALL issues. I just weigh the two sides and go with the one that has the most to offer America --- ON DAY ONE.
JOHN S. McCAIN HAS WORKED FOR US ALL OF HIS ADULT LIFE. IN ADDITION TO PROVING HE LOVES HIS COUNTRY ENOUGH TO DIE FOR US, SENATOR MCCAIN HAS PROVEN HE ALSO HAS GOOD JUDGMENT. SARAH PALIN IS THE BEST CHOICE FOR VP!
BIDEN SAID OF OBAMA: "WE DON'T NEED A PRESIDENT IN TRAINING!" I agree --- He makes lots of promises but has nothing solid to back them up. Also, Obama has told so many lies about so many things that I simply do not trust him. He has too many friends who are terrorists and anti-Americans. He has lost credibility.
I EXPECTED SARAH PALIN TO GET ON BASE WITH HER SPEECH --- BUT I DID NOT ANTICIPATE THE GRAND SLAM HOME RUN!
It doesn't matter who helped write the speech --- she adlibbed most of it --- straight from the heart! Did you guys hear how the teleprompter Sarah Palin was reading cut off every first two lines? It was going too fast sometimes, and she had to adlib a lot of stuff --- including the “pitbull” comment!
Also, they didn’t have a final draft for her to read. She had a crumpled up earlier draft and she said, “that’s ok, I’ll just iron it out on this book”! She is a breath of fresh air and brings a change we can believe in.
I’d love to see Obama give a speech without the help of a teleprompter (and his 300 advisors whispering into his hidden earpiece)! HAD OBAMA BEEN VETTED BY THE DNC AND BIASED MEDIA --- HILLARY WOULD BE THE DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE!
I'M VOTING FOR McCAIN / PALIN IN NOVEMBER.
