Obama and Age Demographics

IT'S QUOTE SIMPLE REALLY. The young and naive are screaming and crying and fainting over their messiah Obama who has spent 2 of his 4-year job campaigning.

The older and wiser including 20-MILLION DEMS will elect McCain / Palin to serve and protect this nation while Obama is having Tea & Cookies with our enemies (no strings attached).

Uh, my 79 year old uncle can use a computer. Even he can at least understand the fundamentals of one and can e-mail. Maybe assuming all older folks are out of touch and live in the past is far more demeaning.

Yeah, but remember the Obama campaign has already said they do NOT need Ohio to win the election (which is true), so apparently they don't care.

P.S. what happened to Obama's promise to not participate in the politics of personal destruction, i.e. attacking someone on their age?

You seem to be forgetting the very large and important age group of 30-64 (i.e. every person you conveniently neglected to mention). They can use computers, and they're reliable voters. Get it?

Perhaps COMPASSION comes with McCain's age!!!!

Biden's Tax Returns Show Little Charitable Giving

Paul Caron wonders if the release of Sen. Joe Biden's tax returns "might backfire because the returns show that the Bidens have been amazingly tight-fisted when it comes to their charitable giving. Despite income ranging from $210,432 - $321,379 over the ten-year period, the Bidens have given only $120 - $995 per year to charity, which amounts to 0.06% - 0.31% of their income."

"This giving compares very unfavorably to John McCain, whose tax returns show that he gave 27.3% - 28.6% of his income to charity in 2006-2007. During the same period, the Obamas' tax returns show that they gave 5.8% - 6.1% of their income to charity."

When you look at John Mac Cain's mother 90+, bright as any young person I don't think we have to worry about him. As for him popping off because of age, I can personally tell you that young people do die suddenly at early ages also. I wasn't aware that being 47 was a guarantee of a long life.
As for MacCains's temper if you take a look at Joe Biden's face when he is speaking, there is so much anger & bitterness in it you can't tell me that he sits in congress with a smile on his face all of thim. My guess is he has a nasty temper also, could be wrong though. tempers do not just run in one party.

Way to go Obama, you need the older voters and you mock McCain for being old and out of touch. Sounds like we will soon be hearing about a campaign shakeup.

What really matters is the issues and how they are going to handle them and fix the problems! Everything else is for the birds and just a way of passing time!!

Uh, not really, maybe in the beginning it looked like Obama was who he said he was but increasingly the more we learn about who he actually is, the less we want him as our president. No one starting out wants to be saddled with the high taxes he promises for everybody, nor the lack of jobs those taxes will bring about. He also doesn't keep his word, throwing everyone he was close to before under the bus. A man with no loyalty is not what we need. I predict Joe Biden is next.

* The elderly
* Working women with families
* Working women who want to have families
* Working women w/o families who KNOW they could do both

* residents of small towns

* Families of special needs children
* Parents who have done the best they could to raise their kids right only to sadly realize that you just can't control their every move.

I probably missed a couple, but you look at these groups and tell me which one The Big O and the libs don't rely on to win elections.

They need them all. They are losing/have lost them all.

Recovering Dems for McCain/Palin! I was a Dem until 911, and watching the 911 special last night brought it all back to me. Never in my life have I seen the country so united, flags flying, people pulling together under President Bush who heard us when we screamed to go after the perpetrators. When the Dems saw what was happening, they said, "We can't let this stand or we will never again win an election." So the brainwashing began. But not in my house.

Sube, I think what you see in Biden's face when he's speaking are maneuvers he learned at an early age for overcoming stuttering. I was puzzled by them for a long time as well, until I read about the stuttering.

Jennifer at 8:13 PM, please consult factcheck.org or snopes.com, or probably dozens of other places (no doubt including prior posts or comments on this very blog). Obama's tax plan would lower taxes on 80% of U.S. households, and would mostly lower them a lot more than McCain's would.

Obama campaign is messing up BIG time! It's new ad making fun of McCain for not using a computer doesn't take into account that he can't use a keyboard because of war injuries!!!!!Dems should have had Hilary running, she wouldn't self-implode like Nobama
