It is mind boggling. Just come out and admit that McCain forgot who he was, and confused Latin America with Europe. These guys are constantly campaigning and doing interviews. I can buy that excuse. It happens. But to spin it this way, sounds way worse and ignorant. Just admit a lapse in memory.

They did with Mrs. Palin too. She says that she would cooperate fully with the investigation into the firing in Alaska. Now they are trying to end this every which way possible to go as far as sending the a Lawyer that prosecutes terrorists. This is getting ridiculous.

And they tried to spin in a such a way that makes it worse also. They said that she fired him because he wanted to get additional Federal Funds to help in aiding investigations into rape cases mainly Child Rape. They actually said that. That makes the firing seem even worse than what she actually probably fired him for which was her ex bro in law.

They are just getting stupid.

But Obama is a terrorist muslim, so who cares I guess. They are just telling the citizens that they are stupid and think they are fools.

John McCain has been out of reality for some time now. This week he said in response to a question about the Wall Street Melt Down, "Yes the economy has taken a body blow, but the fundamentals of the economy are strong. This when the countyis going through the worst economic melt down ever? What is he smoking these days? His running mate is just as bad, and answered the same question with " yes it is hard times, but the fundamentals are solid, which was the same as McCain anwered with. Onlyobama and Joe Bidon got it right when they said that the two were 'out of touch' and when this morning the President made a statement about the need to bail out the major banks and investment firms, McCain said nothing, but Obama saidthat this bailout for the rich, and passing thre debtonto the tax payers of America, is outrageous, and that he would fire the head of the SEC. What has the oublic outraged is the news that the CEOs and the COBs of this companys all have hundreds of millions of dollars in stock, which if the Feds take over, these men get the Plantinum parachute paid to them by the taxpayers for being the biggest Screw ups in the financial world. Not one penny of txpayers moneyshould go to bail them out, as for the big time investors, theymade a bad choice, and shouldnot be bailed out by public money. NO MORE BAIL OUTS. LET THEM EAT CAKE.

John's probably still miffed at them for putting their power lines so low that a really bad pilot might run into them and crash, sort of like John did.

At least John McCain was smart enough to attempt to pass this legislation to no avail but at least he did forsee it!

Federal Housing Enterprise Regulatory Reform Act of 2005

Bill Summary

1/26/2005--Introduced. Federal Housing Enterprise Regulatory Reform Act of 2005 - Amends the Federal Housing Enterprises Financial Safety and Soundness Act of 1992 to establish: (1) in lieu of the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), an independent Federal Housing Enterprise Regulatory Agency which shall have authority over the Federal Home Loan Bank Finance Corporation, the Federal Home Loan Banks, the Federal National Mortgage Association (Fannie Mae), and the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (Freddie Mac); and (2) the Federal Housing Enterprise Board. Sets forth operating, administrative, and regulatory provisions of the Agency, including provisions respecting: (1) assessment authority; (2) authority to limit nonmission-related assets; (3) minimum and critical capital levels; (4) risk-based capital test; (5) capital classifications and undercapitalized enterprises; (6) enforcement actions and penalties; (7) golden parachutes; and (8) reporting. Amends the Federal Home Loan Bank Act to establish the Federal Home Loan Bank Finance Corporation. Transfers the functions of the Office of Finance of the Federal Home Loan Banks to such Corporation. Excludes the Federal Home Loan Banks from certain securities reporting requirements. Abolishes the Federal Housing Finance Board.

I'm not a McCain supporter (I used to be, but he's sold his soul to the far right), but this is just making a mountain out of a molehill. So he mis-heard. It happens. He should publicly take Sheunemann to task for those statements and just admit that he didn't hear the interviewer correctly. Stupid stuff like this is what drives most people crazy about politics.

Hmmm, just what we need.
