Depends On What the Meaning of 'Split' Is

    Posted:

My laugh of the day comes courtesy of Fox News (imagine that). To prove what a "battleground state" Pennsylvania is, the "reporter" asks everyone in a diner to raise their hands if they're voting for McCain. Crickets, some tumbleweed. Then he says raise 'em if you're voting for Obama. Every hand in the place goes up. At which point the Fox stooge turns to the camera and with a straight face says, "See, it's split." You can hear the patrons in the background scoffing at him.

Pennsylvania has long been considered a tight race but today six different polls (including Fox's own) show Obama may be pulling ahead in the Keystone State.
