Palin also thinks wild animals are only on this earth to be killed and she illegally ordered the execution of 14 newborn wolf pups a few weeks ago along with their nursing mothers. She is cruel and sadistic. Palin is the scary one, not Obama. Just because she stared into the camera doesn't mean a thing. I am Republican and I won't vote for someone who hates wildlife and who forces rape victims to pay for their own rape kits.

*I am also concerned that Biden was surely coached not to speak down to Palin as it will look harsh on the lady, yet I have never seen more condecension delivered in a debate than that of the republican candidates...

Disgusting is the only word to describe Palin. She is disrespectful of the office she seeks. The folksey talk has no place in the serious business of leading our country and she obviously has no idea what the duties of a VP are. McCain is out of touch and does not deserve the Presidency; his choice for the 2nd in command attests to this.

That was no "debate"last night. It was the Republican version of "Pygmalion". And it wasn't Sarah Palin we saw. It was Liza Doolittle. The only thing missing was John McCain, Carl Rove and the other Republican "Mavericks" on stage after it was over dancing and singing ."By God we did it, we did it, they said we couldn't do and indeed we did."

Sarah won that debate. Only the biased media with that muslim Haravard dude think different.

Just once I would like to hear "someone say something about the middle class on just how much of the 700 bail out ..Ofcourse they had changed the heading to that bill, hmmmmmmmmmmmm You know as Johm McCain says "he just doesn't get it" Well I would like to just say this.. They don'r get it look around your area and see just how businesses are going belly up??
Its very evident its the middle case business of this country that makes the whole economic picture better..SEE if you take that 700 trillion would go back to us the "people" If you did the math taking into consituation that there is 301 million people in this country and maybe as many 200 million are tax payers ..Give that 700 trillion back to the people as a" REAL!!! STIMILUS PAYMENT" and let them pay their mortgage's off and what ever!! And put this econimic mess back !! Let us THE TAX PAYER what we would like to do with those monies and ofcourse "pay the Tax" and give some of back right from the start!!back to our governemnt This breakdown to aprox.after taxes to the amount of $400,000 per household plus!Now I ask you would this work?? ofcourse it would! But It doesn't fix the high end politicians pockets and the wall street blounders. I dare anyone to do the math!! HELLO!

The debate last night was a watershed event for the entire campaign. Palin showed substance, Biden showed a clumsy attempt to defend a man he ran against, Palin openly spoke to the American people, Biden spoke about the "past", Palin answered questions directly, Biden responded with the classic "Let's go back to my hometown". Palin was warm, well spoken and smooth, Biden was sweating, nervous, and aware he was unable to defend a man he openly debated and defamed. Palin won, spinnsters can say what they want, when Richard Nixon sweated as much as he did in the Kennedy-Nixon debates, Kennedy was the sweetheart, look at the new youth in our political system, one of change, one outside American politics. Welcome to Washington Governor Palin, you are what we need.

Sarah Palin is not Vice President material. She did not answer the questions, but instead repeated her memorized lines. She is a disgrace to both the international and domestic scenes. The folksy lingo is ridiculous on the world stage. Please do not vote for this woman and McShame.

Governor Palin certainly lived up to MY expectations of her at last nights debate. I didn't expect any real policy answers from her and she did just that by delivering more of the same old "we are the true mavericks and reformers" rhetorical BS..... She artfully glossed over questions with more of the same old song and dance....change, reform, mavericks, blah, blah, blah ad nauseam. When is John McCain going to give REAL answers to our problems?

When asked about her Achilles heel, Palin spoke about her experience. I don't know whether she knows what an Achilles heel is but I know she got the right answer to that question.

I saw the debate last night and thought that Gov. Palin did a very good job. I then checked out the various cable news outlets to get their reaction and was appalled at the commentary coming from MSNBC and CNBC as they were spinning what a poor job she had done. Also, there was little or no comment on the job that Senator Biden did, just what a poor job Gov. Palin did.

Where is ther truth?????

This is getting way out of hand when the news outlets stop reporting the facts and start reporting their own views or their owners personal agendas!

I thought Sarah Palin did better than expected, but that was because her bar was so low, which to me is an insult when trying to pick a Vice President, especially one serving with a man who is 72 yrs. old. I thought she avoided the question spending most of her time on energy, didn't answer majority of the bread and butter issues... when it came to the housing crisis or healthcare and other questions the moderator asked her she completely avoided the questions which tells me she doesn't know how to handle it. Also the whole Joe six pack talk reminded me of George Bush. SARAH PALIN TO ME IS NO DIFFERENT THAN BUSH, ON THE WAY SHE SPEAKS, OR HER LACK OF SUBSTANCE. That is why majority of Americans feel that Biden won the debate. Oh and she also contradicted McCain. Speaking from an independent voter majority don't feel comfortable with Palin that close to a heartbeat away from being President. Being middle class, along with a good amount of people I know connect to Joe Biden rather than Palin. We don't feel that she is a bad person, but we feel she gives very vague answers. That is why you see Obama winning among Independant voters, and that is where elections are won by. Majority of Americans see themselves as Democrats, and so Obama's challenge was to win over the Independents... in which he's done very well, adding Biden has also helped him. I find it odd that when Obama said that McCain is out of touch the media lashed out saying he was speaking about McCain's age, but when Palin said she's been watching Biden since 2 which was a clear swipe at Biden's age that she didn't get the same scrutiny as Obama did. It should be fair no matter female or male they should have the same expectations. I did think her watching since she was 2 also took a smack at McCain which I'm not sure at the time she realized.

Sorry, Sarah! Simon Cowell would have tossed you off American Idol with that wink at the camera gimmick and very unimpressed with the song and it's delivery. And that's what this was for her, a contestant game where lacking skill or substance she went for smoke and mirrors. She didn't answer questions and when she did she didn't answer really important ones well, such as man's responsibility for climate change or the VP's place in government as directed in the US Constitution.
If anyone doubts that Sarah Palin would be another Dick Cheney her defense of his ridiculous assertion that he's an independent 4th branch of government answerable only to himself should clinch it for constitutionalists whether repub or dem. She's as looney as McNasty only more dangerous because he's more senile than Reagan was, probably because he's older than Reagan was.
