Obama's Lead: Growing, Growing. . .

Thank God...the Americans know that our only hope for change is OBAMA. Everything coming out of Mothball McCains mouth are lies or attacks. McCain is too arrogant, boastful and narrow minded. A bully just like Buish. We don't want to be viewed in the world like that any longer. Obama/Biden intelligent, respectful, willing to listen, willing to talk, willing and able to make change. McCain is't a maverick..he's an old stubborn fool without economic strength. (His own addmission)

All you Obama haters should accept the fact that he will be your leader real soon.

McCain pulls out of Michigan...A state in much need of help....Is this what he will do as president, pull out whenever he doesn't get what he wants. When the going gets tough, McCain gets going....As far away from the problem as he can. And it's shocking to think that he doesn't think of the entire population of Michigan as true Americans worthy of his time and money....Country first...Give me a break.
Is he also going to forget the people in Florida, Pennsylvania, Ohio and other states he might not win.

I still don't get it. We should trust Palin/McCain's government with education, which is the future of our children, but NOt with healthcare " because government cannot be trusted" as they both are fond of saying?

Actually, RCP has Minnasota with a 5.0 Obama advantage. It's Missouri that McCain is up by 1.7.

Obviously McCain has suffered from the economic crisis of the last two weeks, with its hysteria and negative media reports. The middle class feels alienated by the Republicans (unjustly so)because the nightly news programs imply as much. The new bailout bill will have many features that are in favor of the average Jane/Joe, something they feel will help their personal situation and not reward Wall Street traders and CEOs. Given Palin's remarkable performance during the debate on Thursday night, the dynamics can now permit the Republican platform to get back on track. The race will be very close in November.

John McCain. Wanted Joe Lieberman as his vice president but his handlers told him no. Suspended his campaign because he dropped in the polls. Lost the debate according to the polls. Said 22 times between 1-1-08 and 9-15-08 that the fundamentals of the economy were strong before the financial market bottomed out. Losing in Michigan and suspended his campaign. Palin even disagrees with McCain about Michigan. John McCain. Ready to retire. Not ready to lead.

Palin vs. Biden

In 2000 I took part in six nationally televised debates for the Republican presidential nomination. I have some sense of the tension and anxiety that Governor Sarah Palin must be feeling as the hour for tonight’s confrontation nears. In fact, she has every reason to be more tense than Biden. Here’s why.

Every day since Senator McCain made his surprise announcement of Governor Palin as his running mate, she has been subjected to a political jihad by the Obama campaign and its Big Media allies. When Senator Biden said that President Franklin Roosevelt went on television in 1929 to rally the country when the depression started, the media ignored his gaffe. (Herbert Hoover was president in 1929, almost no one had a TV then and Roosevelt was known for his radio addresses.)

But if Governor Palin can’t come up with the names of Supreme Court cases in a Katie Couric interview, the “long knives” come out. She doesn’t need to know the names of specific cases. All she needs to know is that our out-of-control courts must be reined in – something that McCain/Palin will do and Obama/Biden certainly will not do.

Writing from the GOP convention last month, I reported that the Left would try to destroy Sarah Palin. She is a threat – a tough, pro-life woman who loves America. They have damaged her a great deal in the days since, and they will try to finish her off tomorrow morning no matter how well she does. We will defend her, and I know you will too. Go Sarah!


Is The Left Stealing Ohio?

Various reports from conservative bloggers, like Michelle Malkin, to the Associated Press are noting the Obama campaign and leftwing groups, like ACORN, are working furiously to bus voters to the polls in Ohio this week to take advantage of an unusual law that allows for same day registration and voting.

Here’s a quote from a recent AP story: “Democrat Barack Obama’s presidential campaign blitzed bars and advocates for the homeless have lined up vans to ferry potential voters from shelters. …One-stop voting, scheduled…through Oct. 6, would be especially convenient for those Democratic-leaning voters who have traditionally had trouble getting to the polls.”

The Obama campaign is putting tremendous effort into busing college students to polling locations this week, while “The Northeast Ohio Coalition for the Homeless believes it can round up 2,000 people from homeless shelters in the Cleveland area and get them to polling places.”

Ohio is a “must-win” state for John McCain. If Obama and his radical leftwing allies can “steal” Ohio by “rounding up people from homeless shelters” they will win the election. And don’t think this kind of activity will be limited to just Ohio. ACORN has been implicated in voter fraud cases in several states, and it will be out in force on Election Day.

This is outrageous. Your vote is cheapened when tactics like this are used essentially to “stuff the ballot box” for Obama. But, as I have said before, we should never forget that Obama is a product of the Chicago political machine.

Don’t get me wrong. I believe every American should take our cherished right to vote seriously -- in every aspect. That means caring enough to register and taking the time to educate yourself about the issues and where each candidate stands. But when it comes to busing the homeless to the polls, there is a huge potential for fraud. The fact that these individuals are homeless means you cannot verify where they are from and many lack identification. They could be from anywhere – another city or another state.

In fact, one “homeless” man who voted for Obama told a reporter that he was actually from Chicago and that the folks who brought him to the polling location had promised him a ride to the bus station so he could go “home.” What safeguards are in place to prevent leftwing students from voting in person where they go to college and then by absentee where they live? These are the tactics the Left has resorted to in its pursuit of power.

Men and women who cherish faith, family and freedom must go the extra mile in the days and weeks ahead. The deadline to register to vote in most states is Monday, October 6th – just four days away. Please make sure you are registered, and make sure all your like-minded friends and family members are registered to vote, as well. If you are not registered, please visit our website today.

Since when is allowing the homeless and poor to vote stealing???? Stealing to me is allowing non citizens to vote or STOPPING citizens from voting. Pease state why homeless men and women and college students should not be voting in Ohio?? I guess if you do not live in a traditional home and own property than by golly you are too stupid to understand the issues and maybe you should not vote. Sorry this is not 1830 where you must be a landowner in order to vote.
