John Boehner 'Foleys' the Democratic Leadership

John Boehner wants some answers from the house leadership about the guy who ran on Faith, Family, and Values for resigned-in-disgrace Mark Foley's old seat. What did they know and when did they know it?

    The Crypt:

House Republican leader John A. Boehner criticized Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and other party leaders on Tuesday for their "entirely inadequate" response to the sex scandal that has ensnared freshman Rep. Tim Mahoney (D-Fla.).

    ...

Pelosi told reporters at a press conference Monday that she was unaware of the alleged payoff until ABC News reported it earlier that day. "The American people, beginning with the people of Florida's 16th Congressional District, deserve to know the facts immediately about Congressman Mahoney's conduct," he continued. "They are also entitled to know immediately what House Democratic leaders knew about it, when they knew it, and what they did with the information. I'm really hoping that congressional Democrats won't play the game that anything north of text messages to congressional pages is perfectly ethical behavior, because that's not exactly the highest bar for the most honest, open, and ethical congress in history (snicker). And here's the phone call, reportedly between Patricia Allen and Mahoney, that kills Mahoney's career:
