The Palin Implosion Continues

Who in the world decided Sarah Palin was a good choice to be McCains's running mate? Did they pick her name out of a phone book or what? She's a walking PR disaster and giving all conservatives a bad name.

She just gets worse every day. Her only constitutional role is to break tie votes as President of the Senate and to become President if the sitting Pres becomes incapacitated or dies. Unbelievable. Her education is lacking. She is dangerous.

McCain-Palin has seized on a comment made by Joe Biden that Barack Obama would be tested when he first gets into office. Who would you want in office during a crisis? John McCain has demonstrated that he is erratic, irascible and angry. Sarah Palin has little or no knowledge about Foreign Affairs. Barack Obama has shown strong leadership, a calm demeanor; and, thoughtful and controlled decision making. Joe Biden is a Foreign Policy expert. The choice is clear.

I wish someone would ask Ms Palin to explain what a "democracy" is. My hackles rise every time I hear her speak, I think she is a dangerous running mate for McCain and I don't think there is anything at this point that can improve their ticket. I keep thinking "a heart beat away", a frightening thought indead. She does not appear to have much of an understanding of the constitution, how in the world could she uphold it? The democratic ticket is solid despite the smears and lies being perpetrated against it by the republicans. It makes me ashamed to see how low it can go. We can't know what is coming down the line for the new president, but I have much more confidence in the abilities of the two men running to make wise decisions and consult with knowledgeable advisors to find the solutions. I trust their message and want more transparancy in government too.

From this day forth, I will refer to Palin as "Sarah-gate" and only Sarah-gate...I can hardly wait for next weeks scandal!!

I'm confused as to how this woman graduated high school, not to mention college. And another thing is clear, that she must not helpher children with their homework very often. It seems that every time she opens her mouth, more of her stupidity shows.

I though this election was a shoe-in for John Mc Cain...until he chose Sara Palin. With all of his experience, and all the more qualified people that he knows and works with, this choice was out of left field.
I agree, she has been a PR disaster. I know she has been an effective Governor in Alaska, and I am sure she is relatively intelligent, but definitely NOT VP material. It seems to me that John Mc Cain wants to lose this election.

Here’s the timeline of the relationship between Ayers and Obama.
Integrity matters and Obama is lying. I don’t know why he is, as there isn’t anything of a show stopper in this history other than Obama running under the Democratic Socialist Party and attempting to make revisions in the American system by adding the “Fusion” legal system.
I wonder why he is so defensive about this relationship.

Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton took part in a debate several months ago hosted by Charlie Gibson. Gibson asked Obama about his plan to
raise the capital gains tax. Then Gibson pointed out that studies have shown that lowering the capital gains tax increases government revenues and is good for the economy. Obama began stammering and stuttering and in one of the most revealing moments of the election, Obamas lack of understanding of the economy and taxes was made clear. Obama was unable to rely on a canned teleprompter response.

Corporations are primarily taxed three ways. Once on the corporate income, next on dividends and then on the sale of stock. If you are a retiree and own stock, you will have less money because the corporation will have less profit and if you sell the stock you will pay more tax on the sale.

The US corporate business tax system is an anachronism that discourages growth and undermines job creations..High tax rates drive jobs and investments abroad.

Government is extremely inefficient. $ 1,000 taken from a business will remove money that drives the economy, creates more jobs and ultimately brings more revenue for the government. That $ 1,000 will be wasted in government bureacracy and overhead.

Obama is using this old lie to appeal to his core support that is promised everything by politicians that use them to win elections.

28 percent to 26.3 percent. A September 17, 2008 Industry Week article, "Sweden Announces Income Tax Cuts to Boost Jobs," explains, "Since coming to power in the autumn of 2006, the Swedish government
has launched a series of measures aimed at inciting Swedes to return to the job market instead of living off of state subsidies."

Last month, the Tax Foundation released a revised summary showing that the U.S. federal corporate income tax quietly taps family pocketbooks for nearly $370 billion per year in the form of higher
prices, lower wages and poorer return on investment.

It's amazing to me that you would give so much attention to things of so little importance cosidering the larger picture. Let's look at a comparison if you will of the contrast in the issues surrounding the candidates: she doesn't associate herself with terrorists, she believes in the rights of unborn children, she believes in tax cuts and smaller government so you will ultimately have more say so about your finances(unless of course you want to stay dummed down and depend on the government to do all that for you). And about the expenses-- you just have to look at the whole picture and give her a chance to respond without believing the first liberal journalism about it. She sold the government jet for crying out loud because she wanted to save the taxpayers money. But I guess you've already made up YOUR mind. I am certainly not a fan of Palin. BUT I do NOT believe (even with the revenues from his books) that Barack and Michelle and their children have paid directly for their current lifestyle. Weren't Demos originally supposed to represent "the little people"? I don't think Obama & family are ordering hot dogs and hamburgers from room service!?! IF you can find out ... how much have Obama's suits, Michele's clothes and styling, and other personal items cost HIS campaign, or the DNC? Fair is fair.

I realize that Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates need to look their best, and am not offended by their spending money, or having money spent on them, for clothes, etc. This is especially true for a female candidate, who is not independently wealthy. Her appearance will, and has been commented upon. We do not want the potential leaders of the Free World looking like Joe-six pack, as lovable and quotable as he might be.

BTW: Past "scandals" of $400 haircuts do pale in comparison. The whole thing is ridiculous. Focus on what is being said, not on the suit or haircut.
