The man/woman on the street stuff is good. The mix of video and audio formats this was composed in also adds to its authenticity.
Given the state of play in this race, it's probably more effective than the sharper contrasts they've tried previously. Or for that matter, the incredibly negative ads run by do-anything-to-win Barack Obama.
Still...one can't but think while watching "I'm a PC."
Obama raised an astounding $150 million in September alone. As "Deep Throat" said during Watergate "follow the money.” When Barry (the name he used all his life) was at Occidental College, he had two roommates, Muhammad Hasan Chandoo and Wahid Hamid, both from Pakistan. His former roommates are now in charge of all his Internet campaign contributions. In these tough economic times, does anyone seriously think the $150 million came from poor and middle class in this country? Seriously? Can you say Middle East?
His convicted felon associate, Antoin 'Tony' Rezko, was born in Aleppo, Syria, no friend of Isreal.
The London Times reported that Nadhmi Auchi, an Iraqi-born Billionaire loaned Rezko $3.5 million three weeks before Obama's new home was purchased. Coincidence?

I won't brag to much about being "Joe the whatever". The IRS or state may come after you.
Hey Joe, just pay your state taxes!

I may be the only one, but the "Joe the Plumber" Schtick just isn't working with me. It seems more like a gimmick than a campaign issue.

The republican party are genius at getting people to vote against their own self interests . I think they tap into the notion most americans have in that someday they will all be successful - the truth is that the vast , vast majority of people after reaching the age of 30 will never increase their social or economic status - its a fact . Under the republicans they will have a decreasing standard of living , working more hours for less money while the top 1% of people own 90% of all U.S. assets , and the top 1% have over 50% of the income . But the huge number of americans that believe that some how , some day they will be rich....even though they may be the bottom 50% in IQ ... they vote republican - its amazing , simply amazing but I must hand it to the republicans all it takes is the smartest 1% of the voters and the dumbest and gullible 50% to win an election I wouldn't be surprised if McCain won the election .....I might not be happy but I wouldn't be surprised..........

Jack the azz McShame really screwed the pooch on this one. If all the people in the ad are like Joe the "I'm really not a" plumber they would be in trouble with the local state and federal governments for not paying taxes or traffic fines. Joe is a loser so one can reason the people in the new McShame ad are losers and tax evaders as well. It figures they are repubs as they don't want to pay taxes but want the benefits and protections the government provides. As usual the repubs want the poor to pay the bill for them while they enjoy the benefits. What punks

You dumb Republicans are really clutching at straws and desperately trying to establish some wrong-doing on the part of Obama or his campaign. It's not working out very well for you . Just like McCain, you preach to the choir and they seem to be the only ones buying into your juvenile and patently ignorant smear attempts. It looks like you're going to have to hope that 'secret racism' aka "The Bradley Effect" will rear it's shameful head and turn this race around for you. Don't count on it.

Republicans and ‘Socialism’.
In the future, I will document Bush Junior’s philosophy of CORPORATE handouts. In the meantime I will just observe that many Republicans abhor ‘handouts’ as long as they go to people but seem to have no qualms with handouts going to (mostly LARGE) corporations. I really love those ‘highly-principled’, ‘ethics-loving’ people!
Incidentally, you ‘free market loving’ SMALL business owners (Joe, are you there?), do you think that the Small Business Reauthorization Act of 1997 that REQUIRES the government to award 23 percent of all federal contracts to small businesses is a ‘FREE market’ piece of legislation? You know, some people might call that pro-business socialism! Look, folks, there is no such thing as a ‘free market’, even in this country. Everybody gets a piece of the ‘pie’, YOU INCLUDED. In the last fiscal year, small business owners got contracts from the Government worth $83.2 billion. I don’t call that ‘pocket change’. Stop pretending otherwise. The point is that, going back to 1932, with the creation of the Reconstruction Finance Corporation (RFC) by Hoover, the Government has always provided financial aid to small business owners at below market rates. I have no problems with it. I think that it makes perfect sense. My point is that, just as workers receive unemployment insurance when they get laid off, you guys are also being helped by the Government. So, stop talking about ‘handouts’.
Those of you curious to see the historical transformation of the RFC into what is now called the Small Business Administration (SBA) can go to:

Ben Franklin said, "The heart of a fool is in his mouth." McCain and Palin has proven this point quite well. McCain is doing all the right things to make sure that Senator Obama win the election. High ranking Republicans have told him that his campaign is losing.
Sarah Palin is the best thing that could have happened to the Democrats to make sure that the Democrats win the White House and both Houses of Congress. Since Palin has become a SNL living cartoon the question will be, How are you going to keep her up in Alaska now that she has got the acting bug?
All you McCainites are really going psycho. President Obama will have a good mental health plan for you. You are like McCain campaign, dysfunctionable and falling apart. You and McCain can not get over the fact that the majority of Americans do not want him as president. They did not want him in 2000 and they do not want him now. Obama is beating him in 2008 like Bush beat him in 2000. You and McCain just can not understand it. When he brought Sarah Palin into his campaign that started his downfall. Palin reminds people of the Moonies that use to beg for money for Rev Moon. She makes dumb statements and is the poster-child for wrongdoing. McCain is an imitation George Bush and he does not realize it. McCain has poor judgment and he does not see it. McCain should retire and enjoy his social security checks and the rest of his fortune.

Barack Obama had the Audacity Of Mendacity to pimp this brazen lie today. Lucky for him, his ears don’t grow every time he lies:
“Let’s be clear who John McCain is fighting for — he’s not fighting for Joe the Plumber, he’s fighting for Joe the Hedge Fund Manager.”
Increasingly arrogant because he knows his personal PR team in the main stream media won’t call him on any filthy lie he tells, Obama has once again not only lied in America’s face, but done it without a hint of conscience….a habit he has mastered, because it is becoming increasingly apparent that he has no soul.
Perhaps that will help you make an informed decision when you go voting.
Warning: You have to be able to read. Some of you may be disqualified.

Please can someone answer this question for me. Why would anyone vote against themself. I'm 46, and have seen a few elections in my life. The line has been clearly drawn. Republican presidents back corporations, with the hope that if they do well the benifits will be seen in the everyday working person life. Has that happen at anytime in US history. I haven't seen it. If anything this plan helped the corporation to ship our jobs over seas to employ cheaper labor. I know this because i lost my previous job that way. Did you know under MCcains health care plan. The tax right off the coporations get for suppling their employees with health care coverage will be cut. That way it will be best for them not to provide us with health care benifits. We will have to get our own coverage. Have you seen the price for coverage. It will be great for the corporations, but what about us. I can't afford a $200.00 a month bill, for insurance along with the co-payments and add ons the hospitals charge. If president Bush had had his way Social Security would be in the stock market right now. Our grandparents would be at the the soup line. Why would someone vote for that. I fall in the $50,000 bracket along with more than half the country. Agan why would anyone vote against themself. Someone please exlpain this thinking to me? And as far as foriegn policies. Why are we striking at the the tail of the snake instead of attacking those that give the orders to attack us. My name is not Joe. I'm John Q the guy that works in a factory.
