The reason PAforHillary is none of the mainstream media have cameras or microphone access to Mark Impomeni fantasy world. This whole thing is in Mark's head, and that is one place the media doesn't cover.

You will note: Mark never quoted Senator Obama in this article or his campaign or anyone connected with him. It is totally his guesswork that Senator Obama will approve of this plan.

Mark is such a great blogger, he not only writes about the campaign, but he makes up what positions they will take even before they take them, and then attacks them for taking the positions he said they would take.

Wonderfully efficient Mark, you don't even have to do any research. Since you are making it all up, you only have to source your own imagination.

In the future, I will document Bush Junior’s philosophy of CORPORATE handouts. In the meantime I will just observe that many Republicans abhor ‘handouts’ as long as they go to people but seem to have no qualms with handouts going to (mostly LARGE) corporations. I really love those ‘highly-principled’, ‘ethics-loving’ people! By the way, as you may have noticed, if it had not been for the GOVERNMENT coming to the rescue of the banking sector by taking DIRECT EQUITY participations, your ‘FREE MARKET” system would have completely collapsed by now! So, so much for the ability of a free market economy to handle all situations! When are you guys going to wise up?! In case you have not noticed, there has been a bit of work done in Economic Theory since Adam Smith’s ‘Wealth of Nations’.

Incidentally, you ‘free market loving’ SMALL business owners (Joe, are you there?), do you think that the Small Business Reauthorization Act of 1997 that REQUIRES the government to award 23 percent of all federal contracts to small businesses is a ‘FREE market’ piece of legislation? You know, some people might call that pro-business socialism, even though the intention behind it was to ensure that ‘minority-owned small business startups or expansions, HUBZone small business concerns, veteran-owned small business startups or expansions, and women-owned small business startups or expansions, in communities impacted by base closings or military or corporate downsizing, or in rural or underserved communities’ had access to Government business.

Look, folks, there is NO SUCH THING as a ‘free market’, even in this country. Everybody gets a piece of the ‘Governmental Pie’, YOU INCLUDED. In the last fiscal year, small business owners got contracts from the Government worth $83.2 billion. I don’t call that ‘pocket change’. Stop pretending otherwise. The point is that, going back to 1932, with the creation of the Reconstruction Finance Corporation (RFC) by Hoover, the Government has always provided financial aid to small business owners at below market rates.

I have NO problems with the Government helping small business owners. I think that it makes perfect sense given that most working people are employed by small companies. My point is that, just as workers receive unemployment insurance when they get laid off, you guys are also being helped by the Government. So, stop talking about ‘handouts’ and ‘Socialism’ when it applies to others. Uncle Sam is helping YOU as well!

Actually this is a terrific plan, giving you 600 dollars a year towards the savings plan, plus giving 3% interest on the savings. This way the gov't can use the money reducing the deficit and at the same time protecting your savings by insuring its growth. Seems confusing, seems like a scheme to use your money, but overall it is really a great program in protecting your savings while insuring its growth.

I did not read about the 401 K but it would not amaze me if it turns out to be true.
What we know is that the spread the wealth thing-it still comes from my paycheck....and I dont like that at all. That is money for a better life for my family and Obama will be taking that from us if you people vote him in! DONT!

I don't think AOL, the company, is particularly conservative or racist. It's simply the choice of old farts who've hung on after buying their first computer because they're scared to learn "new technology." They like their dinosaur AOL browser because it's comforting and familiar, like a glass of warm milk. If you are over 65 and white, you are likely to have AOL as your internet provider. And if you take part in an AOL poll (is the poll among users?), you are more likely to be a nasty old racist who fears change. That's my hypothesis, anyway, as to why the AOL polls are so far off from all the others.
