Tommy Christopher forgot to mention one little detail. If Obama is President, along with a Democrat Congress, they will allow the Bush tax cuts to expire. Since the cuts were for everyone who pays federal income taxes, Obama will be raising taxes on everyone.

Obama promises a tax cut for 95% of Americans. Over 40% of Americans don't pay federal income tax, which means Obama's plan will send checks to the under-achievers of this country. This is called Welfare.

How can we make poor people rich by making rich people poor? How many times has a poor person given you a job?

Socialism has never worked, wherever it's been tried. People here in the U.S. who live under the so-called "poverty level" have a better standard of living than most of the people living in socialists nations.

This whole McCain desperation thing appears to be little more than an attempt to discourage Republicans from voting - the whole "what's the point of voting" attitued. If focusing on Ayers and now Joe the plumber WHILE YOU STILL ADDRESS THE ISSUES is desperation then we can make the case that The Big O is now equally as desperate.

Liberal forces, in addition to Joe the plumber (who, having not yet bought his business is still a blue collar guy), are now attacking Palin's wardrobe, Palin's make-up and, Joe McCain, Big Mac's brother.

The Ayers connection, and The Big O's lack of clarity regarding its nature, is at least politically relevant. Palin's attire and Joe McCain's misuse of 911 is, at best, personal and irrelevant. Does this mean that The Obama campaign's desperation is in a higher gear than Big Mac's?

I beg to differ Davesraves. If you listen closely, Obama has said over and over that his plan does not repeal the Bush cuts across the board. Under Obama's plan the cuts for the middle class are IN ADDITION to the Bush cuts already in place. The increase on those making over $250K results from the Bush cuts expiring.

The Republicans made a huge deal out of John Edwards' $400 haircut a while ago, yet they say people are sexist about comments on Palin's shopping trip? You really don't need to spend that much on clothes at all when you are viewed mostly from several yards away. Black pants/nice skirt go a long way. How can anyone realisticly not expect taxes to be raised by either of the nominees when we have had uncontrolled spending on the war in Iraq for the last 8 years. Oh yes, either winner will be raising taxes when they get to the Whitehouse. They have no choice. National income < national expenditures=disaster.

I had never seen her speaking at a rally until today. Not only does this woman have a tremendous charm but she can speak in a very articulate, personable way, in flawless English and without notes! In addition, instead of being divisive, like Barbie, Michelle Obama is inclusive. This is what the country at large wants.

Instead of wasting $150K on clothes the Republicans should have given the money to Michelle Obama to tutor Barbie Pitbull.

Joe the Plumber is getting too much attention for the wrong reasons. If he can make more than $250,000 a year I am sure he can afford to pay his workers. $250,000 is a good number to break at. The people who need the help the most make less than that. McCain wants there to be no more Middle Class, just the rich and the poor. We know which group he and his friends are in.
