More Joe The Plumber

As many readers of Political Machine are aware, I am a cohost on Tommy Christopher's blogtalkradio show "Unusable Signal." I'm also a fan of one of the other most popular shows on blogtalkradio, Media Lizzy, who you've surely seen and heard around Political Machine from time to time. I like blogtalkradio, it's interesting, often funny, and frequently off the charts offensive. So today, I was searching around the site and came across a very interesting show going on this afternoon.

Starting at 5pm, the debut episode of "Are You Kidding Me" will take off with a bang. For starters, they provide an alternative to the Obama deluge we're all about to endure this evening. Better than that, though, is their guest lineup. Erick Erickson of RedState.com, Eric Odom of Vote Fraud Squad, and "Joe The Plumber" himself will be there. They take callers, so it should be lively to say the least. (I was surprised, by the way, to have to stumble across this, as I work with both RedState and Vote Fraud Squad.) The show is hosted by author and diet guru Tricia Cunningham.

Joe has been a frequent topic here at Political Machine, particularly of interest to Tommy Christopher, so I think the opportunity to speak with him of extreme interest. I find the left's obsession with Joe to be illuminating to say the least. Obama told Joe he wants to spread the wealth, and that's just exactly what he meant to say. Wealth redistribution is a philosophical core belief for the Senator, as has been demonstrated in his own words time and again. The fact that the media chose to focus on Joe rather than that fact is informative indeed.

So if you want to ask Joe about that, or just listen to him for yourself, I recommend you listen to the show. I know I'll be trying to call in.
