Why is anybody surprised that one more biased news media is hiding things to protect Obama? It has been going on since he announced his candidacy for the president. One needs only to ask WHY the bias. There can only be two reasons. One is that the newspapers and televisions stations have all been purchased by enemies of our country who now have an agenda and that is to get Barrack Obama elected.

The other is that the news reporters themselves are being threatened, bribed, or somehow coerced into stumping for Obama.

The footprints leading from Obama's past and the way he thinks have all been there for voters to see if they would only open their eyes and look.

Yet they choose to close their minds to the truth and to persist in seeing Obama as some saviour who is going to give them freebies. Oh, how naive you are, people. Of course he is promising you "things". He is trying to BUY your vote!

When all is said and done and if Obama is elected and all these things come to pass the Obama-bots will say, "But he hid it so well. How did we not see this". In reality, he didn't hide anything. It is all there for people to see if they choose to look and acknowledge!

I just have one question. How can a true American Christian Black or White vote for a man that talks out of both sides of his mounth. If Obama wins the election. There will not be any peace for America. Because just like Cilton he will make us look soft to the rest of the world. We will have bombing in our street agian. There will be more bombing like the World Trade Center. If we as Amercian Black or White can live with the same thing we had with Cilton. The bombing of our Embassy. Then we need to vote for Obama. But if we want peace in America then we nee to vote for McCain.

The only reason you want vote for him is because he is a black man. People please let that garbage go to the landfield where it belong. How can you say that you love god and hate your brother,the bible say you are a lie and the truth is not in you. I have heard through the grapevine that the reason some conservatives are jumping ship to the Obama side like Powell, Peggy Noonan and others is because they smell a BO win (no pun intended) and they want to be invited to the Washington DC elite parties and feel welcome so they use Sarah as their reason of bailing ship. Unbelievably unloyal and self-serving. They will get what they deserve. If it's McCain who wins, guess what? They won't be invited to the Republican Victory Parties.

If they release this tape.. so what?! At this point, it's not going to change anything. Obama has said himself although he is acquainted with Khalidi it doesn't mean they share the same views. And if we (America) wishes to get so worked up by this and throw stones at Barack, let's get down to the bottom of while McCain was chairman of the International Republican Institute in the mid 90s he funded Khalidi and his organization in the Palestinian group over 400,000 ... did he seem to forget about that when him and his campaigners were dying for this tape to 'nail' Obama?!

What you don't mention in your article Dave, is most people wouldn't know anything about this party and Senator Obama's role if the LA Times didn't write an article about it. So if they were so much "in Obama's pocket", why did they publish the article in the first place?

This whole silly conspiracy theory makes no sense. You know that Dave, you are a smart man. But it is clear you think your readers are not very smart.

The other thing you don't mention in your article is Senator McCain's strong connection with Khalidi. Approving $500,000 or more to go to promote Khalidi's political work. I know Dave, you know all about that also (it is well documented), but being a blogger not a journalist, you feel it is OK to ignore it. It doesn’t help your bias attack after all.

I read that article; Senator Obama's speech makes it very clear that he totally disagrees with Rashid Khalidi on almost all his positions. But he does believe that it is good to talk to people you disagree with so you can learn from the experience.

And there are transcripts of the speeches at the event, as well as other witnesses that describe it. So there is nothing on the tape that we don't already know, and no one out there has claimed that the LA Times article wasn't the absolute truth.

If the LA Times released the tape, the right wing smear campaign would edit it down to a 30 second "sound byte". They would leave out the parts where Senator Obama says he disagrees with Khalidi and just show clips of people saying things that Senator Obama disagrees with mixed with clips of Senator Obama smiling (at totally other points of the event). Thank God the LA Times is not releasing the tape.

The LA Times describes the event in detail (both pro-Obama and anti-Obama aspects). They are good journalists; despite your attacks on them Dave.

Dave, as a blogger pushes only the anti-Obama aspects of this event. That is his job. But real journalists must meet a higher standard. Good for the LA Times. And shame on you Dave for attacking them.

Why would a source, who didn’t want to share something, give it to the LA Times? If you don’t want to share it, then why is it there? When it’s called for it's suddenly protected. It must have something damaging to Obama, since they don’t want to release it?

Those who are receiving medicare benefits better investigate Obama's comment in the last debate on where he would make cuts in the budget. Obama said he would cut medicare subsidies to the insurance companies. I checked to find out what that would affect. All supplemental plans (Humana, Secure Horizons,AARP etc.)premiums would increase,medical costs, so would drugs and co-pays for seniors.

My not wanting Obama as our next President goes way beyond the color of his skin. It is about basic moral principals of which he is against them all. I want a man that can lay his hand on the bible and mean what he says. I don't believe Obama has the same religous beliefs as the majority of Christian Americans.
