"Obama needs to come clean on this deal before the election so that the voters can judge whether Obama received monetary benefits," says an automated phone call by McCain's campaign about a financial transaction between Illinois Sen. Obama and Antoin "Tony" Rezko.Well, not exactly. It hasn't made a big splash in the media (no surprise there) but the appraiser for the bank on this deal claims he was fired as a result of NOT delivering an appraisal that would bless the Rezko/Obama deal, specifically the value of the land next door which was possibly inflated to cover up the gift aspect. We've covered this here. Also:
Mailers to voters in swing states make similar claims, and a conservative group filed an ethics complaint Thursday with the Senate.
McCain offers no evidence of wrongdoing and raises no new allegations. He and his supporters claim Obama hasn't been forthcoming about his involvement with Rezko.
The American Conservative Union filed a complaint Thursday with the Senate ethics committee alleging that Obama accepted an improper gift from Rezko and his wife. The group claims the Rezkos' purchase of the adjoining lot amounted to a gift.There's no question in my mind that this is exactly what happened. The lot was bought at the same time, the Rezko's had no need for such a lot, and the quid pro quo was years of pork from Obama's Illinois senate seat. The lot currently sits undeveloped and may be completely useless and unbuildable. Which means that the Obama's were able to purchase a 2.6 million (asking price) to 2.3 million (selling price) property for 1.5 million, which is indeed a nice little gift.

Another example of the National Media giving Obama a free pass. This not a new story. It was one of the first issues that raised a red flag on Obama for me back in March.

Beware to all of us. If the Democratic leaders/government in Ohio can dig into Joe the plumber's confidential and personal information without having justifiable cause, and the law can't or won't do anything about it, then all of us are in big trouble.
The Patriot Act would allow a government background investigation if Joe the plumber was a suspected terrorist or threat to national security. Other than that, the law or government would legally need a subpoena to breach someone's confidential non-public records.
Joe the plumber got the wrath of Obama and the Democratic party by asking Obama if it was socialism to spread the wealth around. We all in our hearts know he is a socialist, along with many of the Democrats who have been voted into office by their constituents who want the government to take care of them.
Now, we're finding out the Democrats are also want to have a Dictorial government to where the people no longer have freedom to speak (like Joe the plumber) or freedom of privacy and anything else. Particularly if anyone of us might do or say something to blight the DNC party.
Even all the whole hearted Democrats who are voting for Obama won't be safe from their government bullying. If you voters decide you don't like Obama (if he gets voted in), you better never say anything against him because they'll come after you.

The endorsement of Obama by the Chicago Tribune would indicate to me that there is nothing more to the Rezco deal than we currently know. The Tribune has never endorsed a Democratic candidate for POTUS and could have easily passed on Obama if they had any reservations about his local political connections. The Tribune has been pretty critical of Obama in the past, and if the editorial board of any paper in the country had any inside info on his relationships with Rezko it would be the Chicago Tribune. The fact that they made an untraditional endorsement that was not wildly popular with it's readership indicates to me that there is nothing more to this story than we already know.

Already in Iowa, the Obama campaign was breaking the rules, busing in supporters from neighboring states to vote illegally in the first contest in the primaries and physically intimidating Hillary supporters, they say. Obama's surprisingly strong win in Iowa, which defied all the polls, propelled his upstart candidacy to front-runner status. But Dr. Lynette Long, a Hillary supporter from Bethesda, Md, who has a long and respected academic career, believes Obama's victory in Iowa and in twelve other caucus states was no miracle. "It was fraud."
"After studying the procedures and results from all fourteen caucus states, interviewing dozens of witnesses, and reviewing hundreds of personal stories, my conclusion is that the Obama campaign willfully and intentionally defrauded the American public by systematically undermining the caucus process," she said.
In Hawaii, for example, the caucus organizers ran out of ballots, so Obama operatives created more from Post-its and scraps of paper and dumped them into ice cream buckets. "The caucuses ended up with more ballots than participants, a sure sign of voter fraud," Dr. Long said. In Nevada, Obama supporters upturned a wheelchair-bound woman who wanted to caucus for Hillary, flushed Hillary ballots down the toilets, and told union members they could only vote if their name was on the list of Obama supporters.
In Texas, more than 2,000 Clinton and Edwards supporters filed complaints with the state Democratic Party because of the massive fraud. The party acknowledged that the Obama campaign's actions "amount to criminal violations" and ordered them to be reported to state and federal law enforcement, but nothing happened.
In caucus after caucus, Obama bused in supporters from out of state, intimidated elderly voters and women, and stole election packets so Hillary supporters couldn't vote. Thanks to these and other strong-arm tactics, Obama won victories in all but one of the caucuses, even in states such as Maine where Hillary had been leading by double digits in the polls.
Obama's win in the caucuses, which were smaller events than the primaries and were run by the party, not the states, gave him the margin of victory he needed to win a razor-thin majority in the delegate count going into the Democratic National Convention. Without these caucus wins – which Dr. Long and others claim were based on fraud – Hillary Clinton would today be the Democrats' nominee running against John McCain. When I read the blogs ... for the most part it sounds like a bunch of sixth graders arguing over who's better Miley Cyrus or the Jonas Brothers. This is consistent with the type of mentalty it takes to elect fools we've chosen to represent our interests. While I've indulged myself a few times out of frustration, I have sound reasoning for my conclusions. I don't just attack an opinion because it's different than mine.
My choices have nothing to do with rumors (Although some rumors could be easily dispelled with a minimum of effort i.e. Obama's long form birth certificate). For me, it'boils down to experience and behavior. I would vote for someone, who I may not agree with on a number or policies, but who I felt had sound reasoning abilities.
The two things that disturb me most about Obama is his 23 year affiliation with Jeremiah Wright's church. You can't be a part of that kind of racist hate mongering and not be affected...it isn't possible the brain won't allow it, and Obama's inexperience. I can't put this country in the hands of someone who's economic policies are a template for failure...yes, things can get worse when you screw with the job makers. AND telling the country $4.00 is cheap gas, it should be higher just air up your tires and get a tune up. Wrong answer, but it's a worst answer to tell the people you'll look into off shore drilling when you have zero intention of letting that happen. If this country doesn't become energy independent ... this country fails.
These are my surface objections and they can't be overcome with any type of rhetoric or rationalization.

Okay, you are serious, no? We are top blame this guy for buying a so called 2.6mil plot of land (developable) for 1.5 mil (when he planned to do NOTHING with it) as a crime.... let's see... land is worth 2.5mil but if you dont plan to build its worth roughly 66% of the value and no one was buying it anyway... dude... makes sense to me... he didnt sprawl his estate onto all of it. He bought it and left it unused for privacy... seems legit to me. I work on this crap everyday. Rich getting a good deal. Also, you can think of me however you want. I read this crap daily from the so called "sorter of spin" political machnine. I read from the lft, the right, the very hard to find "middle" and this guy here is just a douche bag right wing sling machine. I can even see the point of other right siders, but this guy here, Dave is the biggest douche I have ever read getting paid for his comments. He can't even go with facts, he just seems to make stuff up as he goes along. I am actually very divided between right and left as I have split views on most everything. My problem is I see everything from at least two sides sometimes three or more. When you see things from other than the far right, for me anyhow, I have trouble putting faith in anything the right wing hate/war machine has done for the country in the last two decades. Perhaps I am alone, but I know I am not. All the followers of the hate are the doom of our country, not one somewhat black man running for our commander.
