Lonewacko, I lived in Fairfax County for 13 years, about one mile from Manassas. The County is the most afluent and highly education county in the nation. Better kick start that brain of yours before you criticize others.

Most of my family lives in Virginia and most of them proudly voted for Obama. Two are doctors who have never voted for a democrat for president. These are not unemployed people looking for handouts, but educated, hard-working people who are sick of Bush-style politics and Bush-style policies. They believe, as I do, that Obama represents our best chance as a country to lead the world and to restore faith in government. This isn't a pocketbook election. This election is about doing what we believe is right for America. Some may believe McCain is the better choice, and they're entitled to their opinions. But the suggestion that those who support Obama are un-American, un-patriotic, lazy, stupid, terrorist-loving, etc. needs to stop. We are all Americans.

Lou Dobbs Show (a re-run on Sunday night 9/14/08) has informed us that NANCY PELOSI AND HARRY REID WANT TO SET UP 500,000 VISAS TO BRING CHEAP FOREIGN LABOR TO THE U.S. These workers would work for 20-25% less wages than Americans.

The largest companies that would participate in this are in India. They also have offices here in the U.S.

THE COMPANIES THAT WOULD DO THIS WOULD END UP TAKING JOBS FROM OUR MIDDLE CLASS WHO VERY MUCH NEED WORK RIGHT NOW, AS WE ARE ON THE BRINK OF A MAJOR DEPRESSION.

Nobody, not senators, or democrats are talking about this. The hope of the fractured little DNC is that this will never come out.

Donna, I'm a Nurse Practiioner and my husband is a physician. We're both first generation Americans. Our families came to America,{LEGALLY} so that we would have a better life. They worked long hours and sacrificed much. No one gave them a free handout. Everything they had they worked for. Both of our fathers owned their own companies. Neither could speak english when they came to the USA. My husband and I would like to leave OUR money to OUR families not someone elses so YES, it is a pocketbook election

Obama reminds me of certain aspects of 'Gandi'. They both studied Law & understand community... Gandi couldn't have won over the negativity with out this knowledge of Law & Community...
There are many positive reasons why I truly believe 'Obama' is the right choice for President.
No body's perfect but Obama is the right stuff 4 President. It's not true that just anyone can lead a country let alone have keys 2 the White House!

I've corrected you in the past for posting this out-of-context qoute. As I've educated you before, the qoute refers to how America forcibly herded Japanese Americans into interrment camps after Pearl Harbor, with many families losing their property and possessions in the homes they were forcibly dragged from. The full context of the qoute from his book (which I have read), is that if something happened in America that was blamed on a muslim, and America reacted to punish or retaliate against all muslims, he would stand with the muslims if things got ugly. Barack is talking about the courage to stand up and do the right thing, even if it's not popular, unlike what happened to Japanese citizens in WWII. I note here that the Nisei Division of the U.S Army in WWII was the most decorated unit in WWII.
Since you continue to qoute Barack's book out-of-context, with the intent to mislead, even though you have been educated and corrected, this means your actions are intentional. Essentially, this makes YOU a liar sir.

Take a look at the Democratic congress that helped put us where we are today...Republicans were voted out a few years ago.

I predict Obama will win the popular vote and McCain will win the electoral vote in an upset. I don't think the Obama campaign did enough to gain the trust of the Hillary supporters, but then again about 80 to 90% of African Americans are supporting Obama, which could make up the difference. Like everyone else I will be glad when its over.
