Joe the 'Plumber:' Welfare Recipient

Man, it doesn't get any better than this. Joe the Plumbing Hobbyist, who thinks a 3% marginal tax increase for people who earn a quarter-mil per is socialism (He checked it in the Webster dictionary, whatever that is), is himself a "fellow traveler."

That's right, folks, Joe the Wrench Jockey was once a lazy, no-good recipient of other people's hard-earned tax dollars. Mine, in fact. So, when Joe says he "supports" liberals so we can be "more vocal," he must be referring to some kind of moral support. (h/t Crooks and Liars)



Well, damn,Comrade, it didn't bother your precious principles when you were on the dole.

I'm going to say this one more time, for Joe and everyone like him. You don't speak for the working class. When I was growing up, I was taught that a man lives up to his responsibilities, including paying his taxes. He might not like what they were spent on, but he paid his fair share without whining.

I hope Joe keeps going on TV, popping off about all of the ways middle and lower class Republicans vote against their own interests. It seems to have gotten through to a bunch, but we've got a big tent over here at Big D Democracy. Keep 'em coming, Joe.
