Palin-Bash Continues: Africa Not a Continent

Giving credit to Obama for being the first "black" President,

is like giving credit to slaves for being the first blacks to sail across the ocean.

Not knowing that Africa is a continent, if true, is not quite the same as lacking "foreign policy expertise"! We have 300 million people; why can't we get candidates who are at least reasonably intelligent and informed, along with having the other appropriate characteristics (hard-working, tough, etc.)?

Africa is where Obama was born.

What you will fail to print is this. Mitt Romney wants to run in 2012. McCain hired some of Romneys people and they are doing a hatchet job on her. Which you are as well. You did it in the before and you will continue on. You are a sexist and a racist. What is true is this, Obama won by ACORN and other fraud. You may think you will be important along with the other Chicagoans, but he will use you and when he is done that will be it. You may get a job as a whip master when he gets his civilian army going. Bush diabolically sabotaged McCain campaign with his alarming phoney banking/housing crisis one month prior to election and just before heaviest comsumer buying season. Bush's panic message was untimely and totally unjustified in a Capitalistic system. It was a surreptitious step to inject extreme socialism and pave the way for Marxist Obama to have totalitarian rule of the USA.

You could tell from the moment she was introduced that Sarah Palin lacked the intelligence and more importantly, the knowledge of national and worldly events to have the title of VP. Sure she is a fundamental Christian who is pro-life which appeals to that part of the Republican party and obviously believes in the right to bear arms which appeals to the gun owners of America, but that is not enough to be VP of the United States. She has no political experience outside of the State of Alaska and there are even questions about the job she has done there. Prior to being Governor, she was President of the PTA, big deal...there are thousands of parents who have had the same role, and Mayor of a town of 5,000 people...well if that doesn't give you the credentials to be the VP I don't know what will. She has no clue about foreign policy, or even domestic policy for that matter. To not know what countries comprise NAFTA shows she lacks the even the basic knowledge of anything outside her state and to not know that Africa is a continent borders on outright stupid. She should go back to Alaska and go back to being the nobody she was before suddenly being picked by McRage.

Jsut wait all you bashers she will become stronger and more powerfull in spite of all the crap you say about her. Not to many people can continually hold there head up high when they are constantly disrespected the way she is. When they are not afforded common courtesy. I am appalled at those who think they are better and more knowledgable than she. You msut all be MESSIAHS>

From reading these posts it appears the sharks have turned and are now feeding on themselves. The only thing wrong with Sarah Palin is that she was totally unprepared to jump to a national stage. She may not be the complete dummy that she ended up looking like and if she has the right stuff she will no doubt rebound and return with a fury against her in-house detractors.
John McCains aids and strategist still have not learned anything if they are attacking Sarah Palin; their scorched-Obama strategy did not work for McCain and it won't work against Sarah Palin. All these aids are doing is guaranteeing they will not be around or on staff at the next elections. These people caused a basically decent man of integrity to lose this election.

McCain for Secretary of Defense. WHY NOT? It would be great to have an alternative point of view in the White House so that Obama could make his decision based on all the info available. He will be surrounded by anti-war people, so it would be good to at least consider the other side of the arguement.

McCain lost this election. Palin jumped at the chance McCain gave her...who wouldn't? McCain was against Bush for so long, and then decided it would be in his best interest a few years ago to look like a Bush supporter so that the party would accept him as a presidential candidate. Then to further manipulate things he chose Palin to try to attract upset Hillary voters. McCain may be an honorable veteran but he was a horribly manipulative man the last couple of years.

Then when he was so wishy-washy on economics and less than a year ago stated he didn't know enough about economics to make comment...he didn't stand a chance. Palin being less than adequate as a VP candidate was not the only reasons not to vote for McCain.

A voter always wants to see both parties bring forth their best people. I just don't think the Republicans did this time.

The mysoginists just can't help themselves.
