EXCLUSIVE: Backstage with McCain at Leno!!

I've just returned from the Tonight Show set in Burbank with Lucy and Ben,two terrific friends of mine from London. It was a blast. We went and hung out with McCain backstage before his appearance on the show tonight.



He was totally cool and offered me cupcakes!



I selected the coconut one! (It was all very last minute, which is why I didn't have time to comb my hair properly.)




Senator McCain talked with Ben and Lucy about the London Eye, that gigantic ferris wheel. Cindy and I had the wildest conversation about Caesar salad. (More on that later!)

The audience was all military tonight, in honor of Veteran's Day. Senator McCain was not only gracious and funny on the show; he was (not surprisingly) amazing with the servicemen afterward.
