The entire world is using multi-media to communicate. So why is it such a big deal when the president follows suite? I commend his creativity in reaching the masses

This is where the GOP was sorely behind the times in this election. Obama wisely used the internet to his advantage in fundraising and communication.

So you have a problem with Muslims...

To all those who hate Native Americans, Muslims, Blacks, Latinos, Asians, Africans, etc. Have you ever thought about the outrageous things done in the past to these people by Whites? What if these people hated Whites, never voted for them because of harm done unto their people by Whites: land stolen, killings, robbery, enslavement, brutal beatings, rapes, stolen children sold into slavery, families separated, bombings, discrimination, (Aparthied), (Jim Crow), and denial of education and EQUAL RIGHTS.

What if...what if OTHERS DID UNTO YOU, WHAT YOU HAVE DONE UNTO OTHERS? So why hate ALL Muslims for the acts or belief of some? Why hate ALL Blacks, and other ethnicities or those who do not look like you, because of a few experiences with (some) of them. Who are you to damn a (whole) group of people?

There is ignorance among us all. There are far more atrocities and crimes committed against minorities (past and present) by Whites than any other race; yet you do not see these other groups, especially Native Americans or Blacks, who have suffered the worst at the hands of White men in their own country -- on their own land -- under the same flag, ever not vote for White candidates, because they are (White).

So why do (some) Whites hate minorities and Muslims so much? What if Obama was a Muslim? So what? Ask yourself why does this perturb you so much? I know you will say, it is due to 9/11 and the state of the Middle East. But has White America never been (terrorist) before, INCLUDING its own people?

In past elections, I have not known minorities of this country, who have been victims at the hands of Whites and due to the behavior of Whites, stay home in large numbers and not vote because all the candidates where Whites...hated Whites to the point of not treating them (fairly), because of past injustices. Have you ever given thought to this before?

So why do you hate all Muslims bc of the acts of some? How would you like to be victimized, mistreated and blamed for the past acts of Whites; and present acts of (some) Whites? You do not like Muslims, right? Then where did you stand or why weren't your outraged, when your people were out there terrorizing others, killing, enslaving, beating, stealing, segregating and mistreating your OWN CITIZENS, under that flag and banner you love so much...in that country you plegde equal right and JUSTICE FOR ALL?

Most minorities are very forgiving people. It is a lesson you should learn as well, too. After all, maybe the chickens have come home to roost...although RACISM IS ALIVE...RACISM is on the decline...it is dying...it is antiquated and harmful...it raises its head, but it is up to US to knock it DEAD.
