B. Brandon Barker's writing has appeared in Global City Review, The Year's Best Fantasy & Horror (St. Martin's Press), Verbicide, The Feed and online at McSweeney's. He's also the author of the novel Operation Emu. A graduate of Sarah Lawrence College, he was born in England, raised in Arkansas and now lives in Virginia.
No surprise here, and not just because McCain is the loser on the winner's turf. My understanding is that he genuinely dislikes Obama, apparently going back to some clash in the Senate. I don't recall the details, but I think it was that M. perceived O. as horning in on one of "his" issues, possibly ethics reform. (Or as someone more cynical than I might put it, "'ethics' 'reform.'")

I'm glad Obama won the election, but in this clip both men seemed basically seemed to have the same demeanor, you must be having a slow new day.

I'm a bit over O's actor nonchalance. I don't buy it. These guys don't like one another. The cancer ads, the age ads -- how could McCain forgive that? And how could the O forgive the terrorist linkings even if they proved truer than we all fear.

WoW! I thought John Mc looked completely uncomfortable and wondered why he was even there. He had a certain look on his face, like he didn't like eating crow!!

McCain looked like he was going to burst a blood vessel.

You're kidding me right? He is at ease and comfortable. Let's not forget the physical problems that McCain has. Stop trying to make something out of nothing. In trouble of losing your job, Barker? Or just trying to stir the pot?

You guys are forgetting one important fact:
Even though it "appeared" awkward, they really don't "hate" one another.
Successful politicians (both are) learn not to take anything personal. It's all part of the game.
