Holder For AG?

Cabinet speculation continues with word that President-elect Obama may tap Eric Holder Jr. for attorney general. Holder served in the Clinton administration a decade ago as a top aide to then-AG Janet Reno.
Mr. Holder would be the first African-American to serve as the nation's top law enforcement official. He has long been considered the front-runner for the job as a strong supporter of Mr. Obama who brings to the job a long record as a prosecutor and a judge.
Holder took some heat from Republicans in 2001 for not standing up to President Clinton for his controversial pardon of crooked financier Marc Rich. That's not expected to be enough to stand in the way of his nomination, if Obama indeed decides to pick Holder.

The Obama campaign won't confirm that Holder's even in the running, though conventional wisdom seems to be that he's the likely choice.
