Obama Featured in Senate Runoff Ad

Democrat Jim Martin is counting on exploiting an Obama association in his attempt to unseat GOP Senator Saxby
Chambliss. The association in question? His own.
Martin is running an ad touting Chambliss' opposition to Obama's policies, complete with the standard photographic juxtaposition.
Is it me, or is this vaguely reminiscent of that Brady Bunch episode where Marcia impulsively claims to be friends
with Davy Jones in order to impress her friends?
The ad also quotes Chambliss as saying, at an appearance in Cumming, Ga, that he doesn't know what the word recession means. I know how he feels. I spent the whole ad wondering what "Saxby" means, and also, how hard could it be to change the name of your town?
The stakes in the Georgia runoff are high. Things are looking up for the Democrats in the two other outstanding Senate races in Minnesota and Alaska. If they run the table in Georgia, the Dems will have a filibuster-proof 60 seat majority in the Senate. Sending Chambliss packing would also be sweet revenge for the Democrats, and the universe, affter Chambliss won his seat by running ads featuring disabled vet Max Cleland with a picture of Osama Bin Laden.
