Hillary Clinton Accepts Secretary of State Position

The New York Times is reporting that Hillary Clinton has accepted the position of Secretary of State in the Obama administration. This was confirmed to the Times' Peter Baker by "two confidants" who insisted on remaining anonymous.

Mrs. Clinton came to her decision after additional discussion with President-elect Barack Obama about the nature of her role and his plans for foreign policy, said one of the confidants, who insisted on anonymity to discuss the situation.

Of course, this isn't the first time that has been reported this week.
