Why I Hate Liberals: MoveOn Meeting Gone Wild

As a lifelong conservative who, until GW Bush screwed up being conservative and embarassed the USA in so many ways, I have to disagree with the writer of this article. Any group of humans, no matter what sex, race, religion or political makeup will have those within it who are embarassing, stupid, racist, ignorant or down right evil - - that is just being human. I have seen groups of conservatives and liberals and independents act as if they were KKK robe wearing neo-Nazis or had failed the third grade or were religious zealots ready to throw those who disagree with them to the lions, etc. But the writer of this article tries to make it seem as if this type of behavior only happens with Liberals. That is what the ultra-right and ultra-left out of touch with America idiots do - demonize without allowing the truth into what they say or without telling the rest of the story. It is fools like this author who would interview the three arsonists accused of setting a church fire, but only show the interview with the Democrat while ignoring the Republican and Independent arsonists - thus making it seem as if the liberals had targetted a church. Fools like this do not report news, they fabricate it to meet their own agenda, bias and bigotry.

Omg, what a bunch of annoying people. I agree with you Tommy, but I also agree with Guy there--I don't think this behavior is regulated to just the liberals. It's more like mob mentality and all political parties seem to have factions within their party who will behave just as those people in the video, although by their very nature it is usually libs (can you say PUMAS?). Hell, years ago when my kids were in elementary school and I was a member of the Home & School Club (a pseudo PTA), I used to see it there. Needless to say, I didn't last long--I stuck to just giving them money and buying their candy, magazines, or whatever they came up with to sell for their fundraisers. And Guy, in fairness, you are totally wrong about Tommy.

You could ask people like this about their agenda, or their movement, and they wouldn't be able to give you any specific answers.

Here's my theory.

This group (raving lefties) has had their collective ass handed to them so many times over the past few election cycles that they don't even recognize a win when they get one.

In fact, I'm not sure they actually want to win. When you win you actually have to do something other than complain about being oppressed. They're lashing out at each other in lieu of having a unifying common enemy. I think it's pretty apparent that victory has totally thrown them for a loop.

There is one thing which stupid Liberals have in common with fascist Conservatives: what they each say about the other is the 100% truth - they are all nothing but worthless hypocrites. They are like two packs of snarling hyenas, each out to out-dis the other in order to "prove" the righteousness of their respective Cause. A PLAGUE ON BOTH THEIR HOUSES!!

I would identify myself as a moderate to liberal Democrat, and until recently, lived in the DC area for more than 20 years. Not by accident, most of my closest friends are conservatives/Republicans. Tempermentally, I just found I had much more in common with them. We just can't talk about politics. This past year, I unsubscribed to moveon.org when they decided to support Obama over Hillary. Both the Far Left and Far Right are much better at being the Loyal Opposition; leave organization and governance to those of us in the Middle.

Good post PCL and guy too - I can relate to the organizational drama too. It is not just liberals. Being treasurer of the soccer league was a nightmare. The meetings were dominated by people that jumped on anything just to have a say. I did that for one year, took the books to an accountant for accountability, turned them over, and resigned the three year post. I became just a soccer mom and loved it.

It is too bad that personalities get in the way of progress for a good cause. Tommy is right, Obama is already being tested and accused and he isn't even in office! It WILL be a tough 4 years ahead to straighten out the mess created. I hope Congress can get their @@@@ together to accomplish what is necessary also.

they don't really don't want to fix health care, they just want the control of all that money
and they need some hapless republicans around to pass the hot potato to when things go south
watch health and welfare this year when the tax, "cash cow" dries up, only the the worthless people will get the freebie, mom with three kids and a part time job will get dumped because she cant jump through all of the hoops demanded of her by H&W and still keep her kids, some of these women even have to PAY for medicaid. the worst job I ever had, and its hasn't gotten any better

Those damn Liberals ruined this country. Put us in a 53 trillion doller hole. Screwed up our education by underfunding it, put the country into a depression, watered down our civil liberties: oh wait that was us Republicans!

yeah, thats the problem with liberals... there's so much wrong they can't agree on where to start and nothing ever gets done... as opposed to conservatives who always agree that they should steal everyone's money and funnel it into the military and bomb the crap outta someone!!!
