Hey, look who it is! Grumpy Old Man Fred Thompson, the guy who never really wanted to be president anyway! And he's giving some straight talk about how the economic bailout. Watch him as he enjoys a cigar and tells a string of jokes mocking each and every proposed fix.



Darn those liberals (including George W. Bush)! How dare they try to spend our way out of this mess. Everybody, say it together in your snarkiest tone of voice: No They Can't! Fred has the answer, of course. It boils down to two simple words: common sense. Seriously, that's all he's got. So, what do you say, CBS? Does Fred get the job?
